They are pricey. But they were shockingly good. Their people are background checked, which helped ease some of my worries. They showed up on time with enough people to get the job done. I don t have a negative thing to say. I would certainly use them again.

Friendly people who packed everything very carefully. Very honest--when they accidentally stored property in wrong location, they gave us a credit of $3,000 on our bill. Special mention for Oscar, the driver, who packed and unpacked at both locations. Also, Fernando, who led the packing team, and Roy, who led the unpacking team. Great folks and very professional.

When Star International Movers entered my life it was at a truly sad and stressful time. My adult children had just received word that their father had died very unexpectedly. It rocked their world like nothing else and they both flew from the West Coast to the DC area to deal with the necessary administrative needs. We needed to find a mover who could responded over-night to come to the residence to pick up the last items that the girls wanted shipped as memories of their dad . Do you know how hard it is to get someone to come the next day to pack and move? Next to impossible! My children were at the end of their rope and were required to be out of the house quickly. When I asked Star International to help me, they passed me immediately to Andrew Donnelly, the man in charge. He listened and jumped into action. I will NEVER forget his kindness nor his attention to detail. He personally monitored the contract all the way to delivery and made sure that all was well. You cannot do better than Star International Movers - quality, attention to detail, value. You get it all.

We were very pleased with our move from VA to MI. Fernando Soriano did an excellent job both in VA and MI. The crew in VA did an excellent job packing everything. The local MI crew wasn't as good but Fernando actually drove one of the trucks up to MI and made sure everything was taken care of.
