I made an appointment with the Star Quqlity Inc.. And during that time I explained that my dryer vent was on the roof. Over the phone, I was quoted a price of $89 to clean the dryer vent and $20 a ft to clean the hose from dry to the roof. Once the technician arrived he inspected the attic, then proceeded to tell me that he cannot go on the roof because he didnâ t bring the ladder for the roof. But he bought a ladder to inspect my attic and looked at my dryer to say â It cannot be movedâ Thatâ s why I specifically stated that the vent was on the roof. I feel like it was false advertisement from the beginning . The company had no intentions of cleaning my roof. But they figured once they had arrived the customer would get something done verses canceling the entire service. And I did. I got the vent cleaned for $89. Now I have to find a company that will clean my dry vent on the roof. . I will NOT use Star Quality Inc. again.
