Karl and Walt Starkweather have been building projects on time and within budget in Central New York for over 25 years. We specialize in custom remodeling, additions, and new home construction in all of the Central New York area. We also bring the same quality to home repairs and maintenance. Our crews are highly skilled, courteous, and friendly. Any of our employees are happy to answer any questions you may have during the building process. We strive to maintain a high standard of professional conduct in our office and at your home. We consider it a privilege to be allowed into your home to work and all of us respect that privilege. We carry full liability and workmans compensation insurance, so you can relax under our protection and just enjoy watching the construction of your new home or remodeling project. We never leave a job unfinished. Work on your project is constantly going on, in the field or in the office, until it is completed to your complete satisfaction. We are also there for you after completion to take care of small repairs or to provide the remodeling service that you may want in the years to come. Haven't used them yet, but they are very professional in their bidding, etc. , and I know they will be a good fit for the work needed. At this point, I would recommend them and am very happy with the communication thus far., even though project is not completed, so that says a lot.

The project took longer than expected: 3 months instead of 3 weeks. Poor job repainting the ceiling. Ceiling was leaking after it was closed off and repainted. Lot of headaches with the contractor.

They did not do a thorough job making sure there is no leaks after they finished the job and I had to show them where the leaks are before they did anything about it. They took a lot longer to finish the job than previously agreed upon. They left white spots on my new carpet. They did a poor job patching up the ceiling. They did not make it look like it was originally.

hi karl, we are very satistfied with all that was done , and the men were very polite and friendly. they left a couple of waste cans and some glue that needs to be picked up. by the way, do you have enough tomatoes? we have more.please call to make arrangments. ted was going to call but we have been closing the camp. so we are not home all the time

Addition to Existing Structure Building Service
I cannot speak highly enough about the service provided by Walt and Karl Starkweather. Our experience with them couldn't have been better and their workmanship was exemplary. I would recommend them anytime, and wish that I had not committed to someone else for some other work as I would have loved to have them do it for us. Great Job!!!
