Statewide Home Improvements left the job and never returned to finish. The owner never returned our phone calls and left our house in shambles. The workmenship was poor and not code in some areas.

Joe bid with 3-day project timeline. Still not complete after 6 mos. Asked for 1/3 up front and rest upon copletion then demanded additional 1/3 after starting. Never returns calls or shows up when promised. Used my dumpster then pushed it against my house for access - so close that the dumpster truck destroyed siding and elec meters moving it. Has caused hardship on me and my tenants including > $100 in parking tickets for no-shows, 2 elec meter replacements and letters from neighbors about mess. Another contractor will now be finishing while we sort this out in small claims court. Would not recommend!!

totally discussed with performance. never returns calls. wants payments in advance for work not completed. workers looking for salary from homeowners because contractor didn't pay them. Wouldn't recommend to build a dog house

I would NOT recommend hiring Statewide as a contractor. Statewide was not able to meet specifications of signed contract. We are still attempting to have our money returned with no response from Statewide.

Signed a contract with a completion date and a detailed statement of work. Contractor started the job - dug up my whole front yard and left it a mud hole with excavation debris all over the place. Is proceeding very slowly. Does not return phone calls. Is way beyond the agreed completion date. Have no idea what will happen from here. Don't know if he is ever coming back.

Still unhappy with roof, looks sloppy. They finally cleaned up but still left some materials in gutters and on the ground. Calls go unreturned, and when they came to do clean up the boss didn't even come to check.

Never completed the job. Made project even more expensive for me because the work his company did do has to be done over again. Always ignored my calls. I would never recommend to anyone I know.

They seemed to do a very good job on some tasks, but another task was only fair. I had to call them back out because some of the work they claimed to have completed was actually not done. The owner of the business seemed like a great guy, but the crews that actually did the work needed more supervision, and tended to be untrustworthy. The owner ensured the work was ultimately completed satisfactorily and had his people do some extra work for no additional cost, but I felt I had to really keep an eye on things to make sure the work was done because the business owner was usually not on site.

Statewide come one day earlier than promised excellent work.

Repeatly missed scheduled work. Would not return calls. Only supplied cell phone. Had to re-work poor quality work. Begged for progress payments & final payment in advance- cited personal problems for sympathy. Never returned to finish. I should have held final payment to end. Would not use him again. Told me stories of how other customers were mistreating him - probably other way around.

Joe was great, he called the very next day. I have recommended him to several other people. He was the only company to take the time to call me.
