I used Steamatic to clean my air ducts and vents. They did a great job, very thorough. I asked them to clean my dryer vent as well on the spot and they did that for free. That was about an extra 20 minutes of work for them too. I had some difficulty in scheduling, hence the 4 instead of 5 star rating. But once they actually got here, I thought it was a job well worth the time and money spent.

I have not actually been down to the crawl space to check on the work, but I am planning to have someone do that within the month. I was very pleased with the service I received. They responded promptly with a quote and did the work in the time parameters promised.

He was very friendly, checked out my possible mold problem. He determined that I probably did not have a mold problem due to lack of moisture. He didn't charge me for this check, which I thought quite generous. Sadly,. He didn't have any suggestions for what to do about the smell problem that led me to contact him in the first place.

The problem was that someone from Steamatic called me and we discussed possibly coming on Friday morning. He said he would check his calendar and call me back. He never called back. Instead, they just showed up at my door at 8:30am on Friday. Luckily, I was already planning to be home that day, but the lack of communication was very frustrating. They were very courteous and seemed to perform a good job though.
