Review for US Flood Management Inc. (Steamatic of San Diego) ?? (If I could give zero stars, I would) I regret to say that my experience with US Flood Management Inc., doing business as Steamatic of San Diego, has been nothing short of a nightmare. I hired them in June 2024, and owners Okalani and Leticia Taufahema promised a thorough and timely restoration of my home. However, after two years, I?m left with no floors, an unfinished kitchen, and two incomplete bathrooms. Their work ethic has been appalling. They even damaged my garage ceiling under the pretense of fixing a small leak, which they exaggerated. I?ve conducted extensive research on this company and discovered numerous lawsuits against them. I cannot recommend this company at all. Please be cautious and do your homework before engaging with them. They have a troubling reputation for shady practices, including potential insurance and bank fraud.

Horrible businessman. Okalani did restoration work for me. He misrepresented the work in the insurance quote- charged to "remove wet carpet" when my entire home is hardwood, he never replaced the floorboard which was in the quote. They damaged vent tubing and didn't bring it to my attention. He threw away 3 month old "new" faucets/fixtures/ toilet which I wanted to re-use ( all along never communicating with me). They would not show up or one night showed up 4 hours late & worked till I had to kick him out at 9:00 PM. He wouldn't return phone calls. He agreed to reimburse for some of the damage but after many months and many excuses I had to get the State Contracting Licensing Board and BBB to intervene my behalf. Turns out he was not operating legitimately so they had the upper hand & I finally got my $ .When you have a flood and need help there's not time to shop around- take it from me: do not use this businesses!

Carpet was six years old but it looked like new when they were done with the work. I would absolutely use steamatic again in the future. They were awesom!

Gave us the knowledge we needed and protected us

the technician was very professional & friendly. He worked really hard & long hours. I think the company should send more than 1 person to clean the carpet of house with more than 6 rooms.

The Steamatic team arrived on time, was very knowledgable and personable, and left us with a carpet that looked near new. The carpet was so bad we thought that we were going to have to replace it. Not so! We've already scheduled them to come back to do the rest of the house. Many thanks!

We had severe water damage to our kitchen, including mold in our cabinets. Steamatic came in and had our kitchen cleared out of everything we might need for the near futulre and removed everything else to their warehouse storage. Even though it was all very disruptive to our lives, the staff did everything they could to help us deal with it. They work fast and I can't find anything to complain abiout.

They were the most reasonable priced of the companies I reviewed and they provided the results a day faster then all other.

The two Techs who came to do the work are very proffesional ,, courteous and efficient .

Follow-up interpretation of test results has not been received

I do appreciate their work done professionally and customer service. I will ask them again when I need next time as well!

My carpet was so dirty that I really thought about replacing with hardwood because cleaning is so expensive and needed so often. I received calls from other services which were prompt and professional but the amounts they wanted for my small house seemed more than it was worth. I talked to Jamie over the phone and she gave me a bid so that I knew what I owed before they came. I wrote a check and gave it to my husband to give to them as I couldn't be there. I would have been satisfied just if it was sanitized but it was like new. I want to share pix with anyone who may need. Pix can be submitted or emailed to confirm a job well done.

Okalani and his assistant (don't know his name) were fantastic. They took my dryer apart and cleaned out the lint around the motor and then cleaned the vent including on the roof. The vent opening was plugged causing the dryer to perform at less than optimal. I will use your service again when I need to clean the vent again. AWESOME JOB!!! I would rate you as 10 stars if I could.
