"Karen was originally given 2 carpet cleaning options (basic $200-210 and premium $240), the premium included extra stain removal and covered a touch-up trip within 48 hours. She chose the basic package and was made aware that if she wanted us to return for a touch-up, she would incur a fee of $35. She informed our technician the carpet was 20 years old and had never been cleaned. He was able to make the carpet look much better, except for the areas that were worn our from years of use. She paid by check and indicated she was satisfied. She called over the weekend (closed for weekends) and said the carpets were still dirty, I explained what the tech had already told her, but that we could come out for a touch-up at a charge of $35. We explained that the carpets wouldn't come any cleaner in the worn areas, what she was seeing was degradation of the carpet fibers (wear and tear). She didn't want to pay any additional fees, and insisted that we did a poor job, so we agreed to send a tech back out at no charge to clean a small area to show to her that the carpets would not come any cleaner (and they did not). She appeared satisfied, even tipped $20, and 1 hour later called the tech and asked for it back. 2 weeks go by, and we receive a notification from our bank that she cancelled her check (payment) the same day of the very first service, and when we called to resolve the matter, she said it was a mistake, and asked if someone could come back out to clean some spots she didn't show the technician the second time! We explained we did that as a courtesy, since she didn't want to pay the touch-up fee, and at this point if she wanted us to come back out a third time she would have to pay a touch up fee, and we asked her to please make payment for the services we had already provided. She made the payment of $200 + $35 for returned check and then she said she would pay someone else to clean the carpets before she would pay us $35 to come back out. The only additional charge she received was the charge for the cancelled check. All communication and proposals are documented along with before and after pics; we never charged her any hidden fees, and we never ignored her calls or emails. She has been confused, rude, and dishonest throughout this process and we have done our best to make her happy, but we are a small business and cannot keep coming out for free, weeks later to clean additional spots."

"Hi John, Thank you for your business and for your feedback. We didn't push the dryer all the way back, because it was crimping your dryer vent. We called you back to explain that you need a shorter vent, or your dryer will not work properly when it is pushed all the way back into place. Please feel free to call us any time with questions. 919-435-7639 Julie"
