Stein Design & Roofing LLC

They did a great job

Sam Stein is personable and very knowledgeable about his work. He put new (great) Simonton windows in our home as well as replaced the interior door to our garage. Also, figured the cause for water damage to our ceiling and fixed the pipe leaking in our attic which caused the water damage. Everything was done expertly and in an honest, friendly manner. Cost was fair. Communication was excellent.... he was willing to listen to our questions and concerns we may have and promptly answered them honestly. I would highly recommend Sam Stein for honest, very well done work... hands down.

Great and professional service from Sam,very satisfied and thought pricing was fair.I would highly recommend.

Amazing job! Loved working with them almost as much as I love my new bathroom!!! Will absolutely call them for whatever I need in the future. Very knowledgeable and professional, very high quality work. Were referred to me by people who know many different businesses similar and who have loved the outcome themselves.

The work went well

We had a lot of challenges with this project from an unknown leak in the basement to a pole in the middle of our bar design. Stein stuck with us to work through the problems and to help us create a great new basement space

Excellent!!! Trey’s crew was very professional and did a good job communicating expectations throughout the entire process. They came in on time and on budget. I love my new deck!

Great customer service and bathroom looks awesome. Appreciate the work.

Amazing job! Couldn't have been happier.

We hired stein design to remodel my grandmother’s bathroom. She needed a space that would be accessible and easy to use over time. I could not be more pleased with our experience. The commitment to quality from both Trey and his team were evident throughout the project. I also felt very comfortable and happy with Mike, who was in my grandmothers doing the majority of the installation. I liked knowing stein design’s team has been working together for years. This is my third time using stein design and I’m sure I’ll use the team again. My grandmother is happy, my family is happy. Thank you.

Trey and his crews were terrific. He is a good communicator and followed through with all that we discussed and planned. He is A+ as are the crews who came in for different parts of the project. We would hire him again in a heartbeat.

Our kitchen remodel is STUNNING!!! I wish I could upload the before & after photos! Custom work to the finest detail. Trey & his VERY talented team did a phenomenal job. Working with them is a pleasure. Trey is on-site daily, managing and overseeing every component. The communication is fantastic. Trey and his contractors are also a wealth of knowledge and advice... the finished project is significantly improved based on their advice and direction. This is the 4th reno project the Stein Design team has completed for us - that should give you an idea of how much we appreciate their quality workmanship. They are truly amazing people we enjoy and trust in our home. Thank you Trey, Michael & team!!!

Everything turned out exactly as we had imagined. They were a joy to work with, and Trey always stopped by to make sure that we were happy as the job progressed. We would certainly recommend Stein Design to anyone.

I am very happy with all work . It was finished professionally and on time.

Trey Stein/Stein Design was definitely our top choice for the bathroom remodels. Trey, his crew & subcontractors were all very professional, honest & trustworthy individuals. Overall we were very pleased with the end result.

Trey and his crew did a fantastic job. He finished the job in a timely manner. Can’t say enough about how attentive he was to our small project. I would most definitely recommend and hire again for any future projects

Our kitchen remodel in Spring of 2022 was the third job Stein Design has performed for us (bathroom remodel and exterior work done previously). We had a 1987 builder grade kitchen that was in need of a functional update and remodel. Alongside this work the powder room was given a refresh and new hard wood floors were put in thru much of the first floor. Trey saw to it that the job was done to spec, on time, and within budget. We could not be happier with the end result. It feels like a new home and makes a big difference to everyday living. We have three young children so it was very important to us that those contracted to do the work could be trusted and would keep the job site (our home) clean. There was not once a stray nail or screw at the end of the day after clean up and they entertained all questions our curious children would ask. We felt very comfortable with John and Jake working in the home whether we were present or not. We appreciated the attention to detail and regular check-ins to make sure the work was going as desired. Communication was very easy when needed and replies were received within a days time (more often within hours). Stein Design is at the top of our list for any future work needed.

Excellent communication and work. Highly recommended.

Overall, the job was well-done. Trey and his employees are trustworthy and honest. (We used them for a previous project, as well, and decided to use them again despite being a little more expensive than other bids for this reason.) Trey worked with us to stay within our budget and we are pleased with the final product, however there were some long delays within the process. Not sure how much of that was due to current circumstances. When issues arose with third party vendors (flooring company, for example), he was quick to jump in and resolve any problems. We would definitely recommend this company to others, and would use them again!

Contractor Trey Stein and carpenter Mike Bauer completed their third project with us in September, 2021. This kitchen project was a challenging one in which additional countertop space was needed without changing the overall wall placement. With Trey's help, we decided to change the refrigerator location to an adjacent wall and use a counter-depth fridge there, allowing us to keep the island space intact. The project took 6-7 weeks and we couldn't be happier with the results. The cabinets, quartz countertop, plumbing and wiring and floor repair were all done in a professional manner with lead carpenter Mike Bauer using his skill to make detailed trim work look fabulous. We highly recommend Stein Design for your next kitchen or bath project.

I am very pleased with the finished project. Trey Stein was so helpful and answered my calls and questions any day or evening. I would hire his company again with no hesitation.

Excellent service.

Outstanding job

The entire process could not have been better...from the time Stein got our phone call thru the initial consultation, thru the estimating process, product selection and thru the actual completion of the job this company was fabulous to work with. Trey is highly informative and guided us thru the entire job with the utmost attention to what we wanted. Finished job is amazing!!! We can not recommend them enough!

Trey and his crew did excellent work on our basement remodel. The entire crew was professional and their craftsmanship was superb. We could tell they truly cared about the outcome. From the new bathroom, to the new ceiling, to the new flooring and everything in-between, Trey made the whole process easy. The communication throughout the project was great. Trey was onsite everyday providing updates and making sure everything was going as planned. Whenever we wanted to make any tweaks or adjust some plans, he was always accommodating. The end result was better than we imagined. We definitely recommend Stein Design and they will be the first we contact for our next project.
