Tony subcontracted it out to Eric. At the end he charged me more than we initially agreed upon. I will not be hiring Tony for anything in the future.

Tony the owner of his business is a complete scam & I am a homeowner that he took advantage of my kindness only because I saw that he had 4.5 stars which is completely fake. Not 1 review is true he is using home advisor as a Front.. He took $1,200 from me in cash only did less then an hour work, by a coworker that doesn't have a license to do the job! Which the was to repair the back porch & he fix partial of the roof from a leak. But he send the co worker son up on the roof to do the job and left with his son.. That was red flag right there so they left within hour.. I took pictures before &after and I ask for my money because he's coworker call me & told me how he take advantage of people and owes him $2,000.. I have him Tony the owner of STEINS Construction.He threatens me if write any reviews he won't pay me back my money.. I have him recorded over the phoned promised a$1,000 out of $1,200 which I don't even think he earn $200 just completely wasted my time so he can go scam others.. I also have him text me that he will pay me. This all began in 9/16/18 until 10/29/18.. He keeps telling one week to pay me.. Oh btw he said that my back porch was peanuts comparing to he's other work but then he came with he's " coworkers " they gave me a completely opposite of work that should be done.. THIS COMPANY IS A FRAUD!!

This company has been nothing but misleading manipulative and untrustworthy. Tony Stein misrepresented his ability's to get this job done from the beginning of this project right up to the point when he walked off leaving both the fence and deck half finished. The rubbish was never removed leaving my yard dangerous and a total disaster. He did not use the proper materials for either project and he took some of the needed materials right off the job site. I would love to post pictures so others can see the mess he has left this project in. Would never recommend this company or wish this type of treatment on any other person Sad what this company has done

Tony Stein came and gave me the best estimate for my job (repair our front walk and replace our backyard fence). Looking at his reviews online, it seemed too good to be true. Like most things, it was. His workers had clearly had never done this kind of work before. The posts were nearly all crooked, the fence wasn't installed evenly, the wood was cracked, the gates sagged and didn't have latches installed, the concrete pour looked like my 10 year old son did it, and my yard was left littered with concrete, screws, nails, and other garbage. I informed our contractor about the poor quality of work, showing him the incorrectly constructed portions. He said that Tony underquoted us for the work that needed to be done and they had to cut corners, then walked off the job before it was done. I have called Tony 10 times over 14 days and have still not heard back. Now I am out my deposit, have a hideous fence that probably won't survive the winter, and have a walkway that is worse than the cracked one that we started with. While talking with the contractor on site, this seems like par for the course for Tony. He will lure people in with great deals and then disappear. Very poor experience. Update: My neighbor who also hired Tony to do a deck/fence install has had the same experience. She paid a hefty down payment, they came and tore down her old fence and deck, and then walked off the project. Now she has no back deck and no fence surrounding her pool as well as being out her down payment.

Stein construction was exceptional. I always received phone calls if their were going to be late and with updates on the job. They did an exceptional job in repairing my 25 year old deck. It is like new now. They also repaired my garage which was off its foundation. I would highly recommend Stein construction.

Steins Construction was very knowledgeable about my deck repair. They came out the next day and were completed in 2 days. Very prompt,courteous and professional. I would highly recommend them. Thank you

Workers did a great job.

Stein's Construction was great to work with. I was treated as a valuable customer right from the start. Tony arrived on time and scheduled the work to be completed quickly, I felt my time was respected. I was given a prompt estimate and the work was completed on time and exactly as I requested. The workers were efficient and friendly. They explained and answered all of my questions. When they were done they cleaned up and left the area neat and in order. I am very pleased with the job and have already recommended them to other family members. I would not hesitate to call Stein's Construction in the future for repairs for my home.

They did a good job remodeling my bathroom. The service was great and they are always on time.

They were honest and did good work. They are good people and arrived on time. They completed the work in the time frame they quoted me. I would recommend them and I was satisfied with their work.
