They were hired to refinish cabinets at the end of March. I gave them a $500 down payment for the project and have not heard from them since. I have unsuccessfully called repeatedly since March but received an answer when I didn't use my number. They have been avoiding me even though they were paid to begin the project.

I'm at a loss to see how this company got any rating above a 1 star. My experience with them was horrible. They never finished the project, repeated calls and messages were never answered, they didn't show up when they said they would, they left the project debris so long that I finally had another company come in and pick it up. They didn't put up plastic so I had remodeling dust...some of it was concrete....everywhere. It was so bad at one point I actually had gray sludge in the bottom of my tub. They were paid in full for the work unfortunately so now I have to pay another contractor to finish the job. The quality of the work was mediocre..cut boards too short so the baseboards don't cover the gap..didn't check boards before going in so I have a few defective boards in the flooring...other contractors said they "flunked flooring 101". I warned them that I was contacting the Better Business Bureau and was writing this review if they didn't call me before 6 pm the day of my last message. They still didn't bother to call me. They either wrote their reviews themselves or they paid someone to.

They were pleasant and kind.

I first hired them to do a deep clean of my home I was more then pleased with the end results. My floors never looked so amazing! Then I called them back to paint my kitchen. I loved how Lisa took the time to help me pick the perfect color. The fixed a small area of drywall in the kitchen as well. The end result turned out wonderful. I couldn't be more pleased with the final result. I highly recommend S.A.M you will not be disappointed!
