Bob helped me research about home theater system and recommended a great one for me. I bought the home theater system and Bob helped me install everything (AV system, front tower speakers, wall speakers, projector, projector screen). He did an excellent job and now we really enjoy our home theater. Thank you Bob! I would recommend Bob for sure.

I have a complicated intermittent settings errors problem. Robert offered a good suggestion on what may be the problem.

Dr. Bob was great! My TV suddenly stopped getting some regular channels and it was a mystery since the missing channels would change from one day to the next. Bob spent a lot of time trying to figure it out, then came by a week later with a new antenna. He tried this one within my house (before installing it on the roof). But instead of trying to sell me the new one, he climbed up on the roof to see if my very old antenna needed fixing to solve the problem. Instead he found that the cable from the roof into my house was ripped. He repaired it and the issue was solved. He spent a lot of time diagnosing and fixing the problem. I recommend him highly.

Not worth the money.

I did not expect to pay over $400 to have a TV antenna put on my roof. The break down was: Show Up - $50; hourly charge $100 x 2 hours, plus $163 for the antenna, including tax, for a total of $413. I looked up the antenna and it sells for $86 on Amazon. He did not so much as leave me the box the antenna came in, no manual, no install instructions, nothing. I think he did spend more time than he charged because he took several trys to find the right cable leading from an unused DirecTV dish, and he wasn't all that professional. I had to pull out my iPhone compass app to help and he guesstimated the direction of the main broadcast antenna. We ended up with 79 channels so that seems good, but being under 25 miles from all of the broadcast channels and using a multi-directional antenna - we might have done better if he applied any kind of science to the orientation of the antenna. I notice my neighbor has a similar antenna oriented quite differently than mine. What sums it up is he was not going to give me a receipt or any kind of bill of sale. I had to write up my own receipt and get him to sign it.

Bob is very patient and very safety conscious. He'll recommend what he thinks is best, and work with you every step of the way. He found and fixed safety issues in our audio setup, and helped us fix a mess of tangled components that weren't working. So glad we hired him! Super knowledgable and he brings all the tools & supplies needed.

Do not use. He WAY overcharged- Double the retail price for antennas, would have charged $500 apiece for TiVo DVR (more than double the retail price I ended up when I bought it myself). Did not seem to want to place antennas outside. (refuses to go up 2nd story) Did not want to run cable from antenna in attic to sets in bedroom and living room. He used part of my satellite cable to hook up antenna, thereby disconnecting my satellite feed. Had to hire someone else to come and fix what he left me with. At less than 1/4th the cost.

Prompt service. Know what their doing.

Robert had the k knowledge and ability to do a great job. I had already purchased all the parts prior to hiring Robert. It was a good thing because Robert did not have some basic parts in his truck (antenna matching transformer, waterproofing tape).

I hade Sonic telephone/internet installed in Berkeley. Then I needed to improve my indoor antenna to receive broadcast vhf/uhf TV signals, i.e., over the air from the SF tower. All my attempts at getting a Mohu antenna to receive them. Finally I found Stereo Wizards and this problem got solved. I never would have been able to do it myself because it required an antenna designed to receive BOTH vhf and uhf which very few residential antennas can do. Patrick

Robert was very professional and was easy to work with him

I didn't feel like he was qualified to resolve my problem. He came with no tools and only gave me suggestions for me to try and resolve instead of him fixing it. Nothing was fixed and all he wanted to do was up sell me. I just needed my projector fixed.

Antenna strength and placement are the paramount factors for local broadcast reception. Bob understands this. Before he embarked on a complex roof installation, he did an indoor test of the antenna he provided. With excellent reception indoors, there was no need for a complex outdoor installation, which saved us significant dollars in the installation. We now have excellent local reception with his set up.
