Steve took the time to listen to what we desired in regards to the design of our built-ins surrounding our fireplace. He called within a few days to provide the estimate and gave us his timeline. The quality of his work is excellent. We were extremely pleased and will not hesitate to call on him again for future projects.

Steve did a wonderful job designing, constructing, and installing built-in bookshelves in our living room. He offered us several different design ideas with different prices, and we chose the one we liked best. He listened to what we wanted, was always very prompt in getting in touch, and did the work quickly. The install itself just took a couple hours, and he and his workers were respectful and thorough. We got quotes from two other carpenters, and Steve was the most affordable by far. We will certainly be requesting him again for other carpentry needs on the house. Highly recommend!

Steve and his team built a room full of built-in bookshelves (complete with a rolling library ladder) and a giant china hutch for us. He listened to what we wanted and worked with us to custom design both. He was timely, friendly, and always cleaned up at the end of the day. He completed both projects by the date originally quoted. Both pieces came in very close to budget and I never felt pressured to upgrade. I would recommend him in a heartbeat and will certainly be using him again. Thank you, Steve!!

Steve and Justin did a great job installing baseboards, shoe mold, cabinets, and door jambs. Work was done on time, for the agreed upon price, and was of high quality. Would definitely recommend steve to anyone looking for someone to make or install anything made of wood.

Steve and Justin exceeded my expectations! Steve was very pleasant to work with and offered helpful suggestions as we discussed the details of the project. He listened carefully to what we wanted and improved on the design. He was matching the finish and molding of other cabinets we had and even had the molding custom made for us when he discovered it was not a readily available pattern. The cabinets are a wonderful match and fit the space well (another concern we had). The craftsmanship is precise and invokes pride... glad they are in the kitchen where they will be seen. The installation of the full wall, floor ceiling cabinets took about five hours and they cleaned up the small debris they had made. We were ready to use the cabinets as they waved goodbye! I do not believe we could have had a better experience. We wholeheartedly recommend Steve Brooks for his woodworking mastery and will be using him again for future projects.

Steve and his team were amazing! He came, listened to what we wanted (we were very particular, practically designed the bookcase before contacting him), offered thoughts and ideas on how to make it work. He listened to us even when he had a different idea - he wanted to please the customer. He found a way to make exactly what we wanted. He built a built-in floor-to-ceiling bookcase for us and it is amazing! We absolutely love it! The quality of Steve s work is wonderful. The bookcase is gorgeous, and his team took extra time to put it together. They had to make some on the fly adjustments because our floor and frames were not very straight, so it took longer but they stayed and did the job correctly and well. Steve was very communicative with me, showed up on time, provided a reasonable estimate, gave me a date by which he would have it done and he did it on time and on budget and exactly how we wanted it. We are very happy with Steve and highly recommend him.
