My name is Steve Sinclair. I have been in business for 1yr now. I went to a technical highschool, I have 5 years commercial experience, 2 yrs residential experience. I am a focused worker, very organized and driven to complete your project properly and efficiently because first of all, I have to get past me, and im a hard one to please. Neat and Clean workmanship is my gig since I was 18. I am now 27. Anything residential is my stong area. As far as commercial is concerned, although I do not on a regular basis plan or install distibution equip nor do I service any, anything from lights to outlets to circuit breakers,I can handle. please feel free to call me or email me to make an appointment to look go over your project. $75/hr or $100 min - for projects involving at least 2 hours or over of required labor to complete -$10/hr per helper ( if required ex. new cable runs requiring a pair of hands on each end, assistance lifting new fixtures for installation&more).

Steven came and installed 6 hard wired smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors in my home. I needed this done on very short notice to pass a fire dept. inspection to sell my home. He explained what I needed, helped me to shop and choose the right devices and installed them quickly and correctly all in the same day. I passed my inspection today! I would call him again anytime.

He was very quick to respond and installed a 30amp outlet for my drier in the basement. He also fixed my doorbell which wasn't working. We definitely recommend Steven and will be using him for any future electrical work we need done.

"we discussed an hr'ly rate, i gave you an estimate of how many hr's would be involved in the project but an estimate is an estimate. not all ceilings are are identical. you choose a spot for the ceiling fan and snake wires from that point on to the switch box. i did not design your ceiling therefore i took it as it came as far as snakeing. we we're an hour off the estimate of 3 hr's and ended up taking 4. when you agree to a project you know the hourly rate prior. we base the labor off how long we estimate the labor to take based on experience. it was a difficult snake down the header of your switch wall."

Steven and his father were available the same day of my request for service. They troubleshooted the issue and gave me options. Went directly out to get the replacement heat detector that was causing the household issue. Quick service, very polite. They need to carry a bill of sale though, as a homeowner we need receipts of product/bill of sales for household financing purposes. I had to wait for them to come back the following day with it so I could provide full payment.

The work was ok.the cost was Way,way over priced. Over $200. Dollars an hour. I am very very unhappy an believe I was taken advantage of.

"I am sorry you feel this way but I'm in business to make a fair's day pay not take advantage of homeowners like your self. We spent a total of 5 hours re-working your heirloom chandelier,(including running out to get the appropriate stock to resolve the height issue due to the fact your chandelier was made for 14 ft. ceiling), troubleshooting your 3 way switches in both the dining room and laundry room & Installing and hanging your chandelier. All of this was done with a sense of urgency due to an event you were having at your home and I threw in a free 3 way toggle switch. You were pleased with my work when I left there."

Steven responded quickly to my inquiry and was available immediately. He did a good job, but when he presented the bill was a lot higher than expected. We discussed an hourly rate and he end up charging me double what was expected. I would hire Steven again, but next time I will make sure that we agree on a fix price for the job to avoid any unpleasant surprise.

"This rating is not accurate. I looked at it and we never discussed a price. He said it was an Emergency and it was completed quickly and I fixed the problem. This was for the Homeowner with a wife and children and they had no electricity so of course I moved quickly to resolve and he never said a word when it came time to pay me."

Steve was very accommodating in meeting my time requirements. The tenant was to move in, so Steve came in the evening, and stayed until the job was done. His pricing was very fair. He worked hard to find a replacement motor to fit the original bathroom fan, and replaced all the plugs (10) in the apartment. He was efficient, neat, and methodical. Pleasant to work with. I'd definitely hire him again.
