About us
Steven Veal has spent over 30 years in finish carpentry, apprenticed at 13 into a family of master craftsmen. Texas Trim Pros does the trim work that makes a house feel finished: crown molding, baseboards, wrapped windows and door casings, wainscoting and paneling, ceilings and beams, fireplace mantels, stair treads and handrails, built-ins and custom cabinetry. Residential and commercial. Steve does every job himself. The person who quotes your work is the person who shows up and does it — no crews, no subs, no handoffs. Jobs run from resetting a single interior door to 750 feet of baseboard with eight wrapped windows and crown throughout. Estimates are itemized by the foot, with and without paint, so you can see what you're paying for and adjust the scope before anything starts. Doors (Interior) Installation and Replacement
We’ve used Texas Trim Pros for multiple projects now but this is the most recent one.
We had an a/c drain pipe leak which ruined the sheetrock on a couple walls and the ceiling, as well as ruined the linen cabinet door. Steven efficiently and effectively demo’d it all, replaced everything and made it perfect again. It looks like it never happened.

We had an idea for the dining room ceiling. Talking with Steven, he suggested another option that still fit in our parameters. He was meticulous with the details of the installation and its completed look. Clean up was given the same attention, when done if you didn't know the ceiling was done you wouldn't have known he was here. We will be using him again.

Steven Veal is truly a professional when it comes to custom wood work. He takes the time to be very accurate. He installed crown moldings and columns in entry, dining room, and living room. They look stunning. His assistant Moses was also very professional, hard working,and extremely courteous. We will definitely use them again.

Steven is not only knowledgeable in installing moulding/trim, he also has a keen eye when it comes to picking out the right design for your house because of his experience working with interior decorators. He is thorough in his craft, and works with you when it comes to the budgeting and logistics of the project. We chose to pay for the materials ahead of time which he picked up. With Steven, you're able to get an accurately itemized estimate of the labor per foot (with/without him painting) and price out different style/material options easily. He did such a great job during the initial moulding installation process, that we decided to add another room to the project, which he was able to incorporate without hassle. I will definitely hire Steven for any future trim/moulding projects again and recommend his services to anyone searching for quality work at a resonably competitive price!
