We read the reviews at home advisor and picked jim for the work with the drywall and some laundry room flooring. Jim is very punctual. You can expect to see him 10 min before itself waiting outside for the appointment time. Jim quoted a reasonable price for the work and did it very well as explained. He gave us different options so we could settle on what will work for your budget. The work he did was top notch. We were very pleased with how it turned out.

Our projects were top notch! Jim built for us a custom wood mantel, installed a grid in our studio wall and fixed the mud room bench. "I SURE AM A MAN OF MY WORD.. I told the customer I would fix it once he had the balance of 156.00 owed. I power washed a 1200 sq. ft. house, 2/3 of the big 4000 sq. ft. home, both with long walks, supplied 60.00 in materials. Also repaired a fiberglass door and 2 coats of paint and was paid 350.00 He closed the door to soon and the small epoxy repair stuck to inside of jamb. He said he couldn't afford to pay it all, yet owns that 700k property. YOU FOLKS SEE MY REVIEWS!!!!! I guess you can't always please the entitled. I did such a good job on the guest house and was asked to do the big one. So that 0.5 review is only because I didn't drop everything for a door I didn't get paid for anyway. Besides the door must dry at water damage area and not to be rushed due to budget. UCSB"

Jim, did my home exterior power wash, painting, repairs to wood on window sills, front porch railings. He re-screened the back porch and completed other outside damaged wood repairs. The repairs were done professionally and the quality of work was excellent. Will use Jim on all my home repair and maintenance items.

I am so so happy that I met Jim; he is one of those old-fashion handymen you read about; he quotes you a price, shows up on time, does great work, cleans up after himself AND I think he can fix anything there is to fix around a house. My projects included replacing drywall sections in my kitchen ceiling, crown molding, new light fixtures, new hardware and painting - everything Jim did looks fabulous. I would hire this man again in a heartbeat.

Jim doesn't let any grass grow under his feet. Very efficient and does great work. Jim also cleans up everything and prides himself on doing all things right the first time so he doesn't have to correct years down the road.

Jim was very personable and knowledgeable about the work that was needed to repair the drywall. You would never know there were cracks (house settling) in the wall and they look brand new. He was able to match the paint perfectly as well and has been doing this type of drywall work for many years. Jim also completed a few other minor repairs while he waited for the walls to dry. I plan to request his assistance in future home projects. I highly recommend Stiffler Total Home Improvements.
