This guy is a fraud. It has been verified that he does NOT have a State of Tennessee contractors license... he will say he does. He damaged more than 50% or our 1x2 ft Carrera marble tile. Did a horrible job attempting to install dry wall, tape and mud. Upon checking his reviews, we found (afterwards unfortunately) that they are fake. One guy we contacted was another tile contractor and had never heard of Stokley Tile or Thomas Stokley. After over 2 weeks work, of which he was extremely late every day, he had not finished one part of the job and had damaged so much of the tile, made a huge mess, used our tools and broke them. We got smart and fired him. He called the police (thank goodness) when we were removing him and his stuff. Then he took us to court to try to get more than the $3000 we had already paid him! This guy and his girlfriend were an absolute nightmare! DO NOT HIRE HIM! He talks a good game, but does not know what he's doing.

Left in a hurry the last day in order to go out of town. This was after postponing our job a couple times. We were ok with that but expected their attention to finish our job. When they left, the floors had not been cleaned at all and we told them we liked the work. After we cleaned up, we discovered some issues. they were going to charge us to come back and fix the problems because they said we told them we were happy when they left.

"Sorry you were not happy about me coming back out and installing different thresholds for free. The only thing I asked for you to pay was the minimal service charge $50 which covers gas and you were very upset that it was not free! yYou wanted everything for free . I even removed your stove, fridge, dishwasher, washer and dryer for free. I was treated very badly over this when my job was complete, you later decided to swap thresholds and cannot expect someone to continue working for free and using their gas for your liking. I'm sorry you feel the way you do but after being nice and giving you January's discount when your job was well into Feb"

Great experience. Listened to what I wanted .gave me beautiful new bath room and repaired my shower at a great price.very personable .and we saved $$.would use them again and highly recommend Stokley tile.
