I chose Stone Care of Arizona after getting bids from several companies to restore the marble floor, shower and countertops in my bathroom. I also needed a two marble tables cleaned and polished and a granite kitchen island cleaned and polished. Michael's attitude and pricing won him the job. He did not disappoint. He showed up on time (a rarity these days!) with all the necessary equipment and products to do the job. He's a very knowledgeable and personable man, and gave me lots of helpful hints on cleaning and maintaining my stone. He fixed an area on my shower floor where some grout was missing, no charge. He polished out a terrible etch mark on my marble tub deck, no charge. His assistant worked on the granite island for quite some time and while it looked a lot better, it still had some "flat" spots where the calcium had penetrated the stone over the years. Michael showed me and said that this was the best he could do without getting into a full blown honing restoration, which would cost another $1200.00. I asked him if it were his counter, would he go to the expense of honing it and he told me honestly, he would not. This would have been a great opportunity for a dishonest person to make more money. I know ultimately the decision was mine to make but I really appreciated his honesty. It still looks 100% better than before he started. If I were selling my home then I would spend the extra money to get it "perfect" but I know that if I were to have spent the money to do the honing it would only be a matter of time before it happened again. Water and stone don't mix! It's obvious in talking with Michael he wants one thing and one thing only, for his customers to be happy with the job he has done. And he seems willing to do whatever he needs to do to make sure that happens. I will definitely use Michael for all my stone care needs in the future.

We had our grout cleaned and sealed by Michael. He is a very nice person, but unfortunately, we were not happy with the outcome. I feel that the grout was clean but it did not "look" any cleaner or lighter in areas that I thought it would lighten. Although I feel, that it was a good price to have the grout cleaned, I wish we would have saved the money and put it towards color-sealing instead. He also started cleaning my appliances without my permission. I know he meant well, but I did not want my stainless steel appliances cleaned with the products he used.

"We are truly sadden you are disappointed with the fact we could not remove the "stains" on your tile and grout. We clean lots of tile and once in a while we are unable to restore "really" stained grout with cleaning only. You are right, color seal would have covered the stains. The service cost up to 5 times that of cleaning and will obligate you to recolor the grout when the acrylic become oxidized. I plan to refund your money for the tile cleaning. Had you expressed this while I was there I would not have charged you. To get a refund, please email your name and address. Once I can verify who you are, I will send a check the next day."

Michael is great to work with. He did an incredible job on all my tile, grout and granite counter tops. Definitely knows his business. He answered all my questions and gave me some great cleaning and maintenance tips. I will call him again whenever I need service. We are new to the area and I feel blessed to have found someone like him. He has pride in his work and it shows. Definitely 5 star service.

Seemed to want to do a GOOD JOB... SOLD the job really well... but unfortunately I felt like I had to PUSH him to get the areas I really needed to address.... Tile came out CLEAN.. but honestly does not look any better with the VARIATIONS in the color of GROUT.... so we SHOULD HAVE COLOR-SEALED it! but I thought we was going to bring it... and let me know HIS opinion of what the JOB needed when he got here... but no... he just came to clean... and that just wasn't enough to make the grout look a consistent color... :( BUT IT WAS CLEAN :))

"Thanks for your review. Congratulations, on the selling of your home! Before we begin any job, we evaluate the tile condition. Following our pre-inspection, we made a concerted effort to speak with you at length about the condition of your tile. We explained that two colors of grout had been applied to the grout lines. Apparently, newer grout had been applied that failed to match the existing grout or it had been stained. When a house is in escrow, and the new buyers have not requested improvements, we typically recommend cleaning only. This option gives the new homeowner clean floors and allows them to choose the color seal they would p"
