Do not work with this guy. Bad customer service. Owner Richard only cares about collecting money, not caring about the quality of work or if it works. He recommended a product (monocoat) that is not suitable for my type of wood. I overpaid for a result that I don’t like. Ended up sanding perfectly fine stained Brazilian cherry to end up with a color that looks more pink floors. The product monocoat, although they advertise that it’s stain and scratch resistant, it’s not. It’s very high maintenance. The only reason that Richard recommended it is because it’s easier to apply and cost of application is more than the water based one. The owner said that he could reuse the wood that I was planning to rip off in other rooms, which he knew ahead of time were glued and nailed in, and he couldn’t use them. He insulted me in my own home and called me names. Basically don’t get him into your house.

Richard and his crew were great. Richard came to give a quote to refinish our hardwood floors the day we called him and we felt the quote was extremely reasonable. He was able to accommodate us in a short amount of time. The floors came out great.

Promptly returned our bid request. Great communication, timely response for RFP, was on time for work, completed resurfacing 800 square feet in one day. Much appreciated many thanks. Highly recommend.

Richard and his crew did an outstanding job. Floors came out looking absolutely great.

The project was water damaged floor. Richard came and inspected damage. We had on hand a never opened box and a partial box of wood left by the previous floor installers. Richard said there was ample wood to repair damage plus any boards that showed possible water intrusion. The results: 1. Boards replaced by size only, making no effort to blend in to original work. 2. A few boards not fitted leaving gaps which he filled with wood putty. 3. A few boards were higher than others. 4. Did not clean up. Left floor covered with footprints and glue, which after much work we have not gotten intirerly clean. 5. He took one box with him and stated every thing in it was trash. He said he could not do any rework as there was no wood left, if I could get more wood he would send his workers. I have been unable to find more wood and I believe he would not come back, anyway. 6. I feel that he charged me way too much, and did a quick and sloppy job.

nice clean work

Richard was very professional and helpful explaining the refinishing process and options. Used nice newer equipment and finished job in timely manner.

I called Richard and he came out that evening to look at my job, he knew I was moving into this place in less than a week, he came next day, a Sat and sanded all the floors and replaced a board at no additional cost, Monday he returned to finish, beautiful work, courteous, very clean, very fast. This was a stressless experience, the floors look brand new. I would not hesitate to recommend this gentleman to anyone.
