Contract signed Oct 2021. Two windows were never installed. One was installed with cracked glass. It is now May 2023 and I can not contact this company to finish window installation. Buyers beware! A lawyer is working on this company to resolve this.

We had all of our windows replaced at our Fort Myers Beach condo in May 2022.. Every single one of them, including the screens, held up on our beachfront condo during hurricane Ian. No broken windows, not even a crack. Even the screens are still intact!!! A couple are a bit difficult to open now, which probably just needs an adjustment â ¦.but in all, I am extremely impressed. We have been very pleased with the windows and the service over the past 5 years and contacted them to repair a door damaged in the hurricane. Response was prompt. Ernie has worked for the company for several years and represented them well.

Storm Shield installed 8 windows in 2014. For the past 8 years the windows have met all the company claims. We are totally satisfied with the company and the quality of the windows. We had 3 additional windows that we wanted done at a later date due to cost. Yesterday Eric came out to measure and quote the price for the 3 remaining windows. He arrived right on time. We have now signed a contract to do the remaining 3 windows. At one of the past home shows I requested some new parts to hold in a screen. They mailed the part out promptly. We recommend Storm Shield based on our past experience with the company and look forward to our new windows.

We had Storm Shield Windows and Doors install some hurricane impact windows a few years ago. We are so happy with the product, installation and their customer service that we came back for more. We met with Ernie Terrazas today to order the rest of the windows and the front door. He was so professional, knowledgeable and explained so much about the product. No questions were left unanswered.

Window blew out in 30 mile an hour wind and cant get a repair. They say they cant keep help. What good is lifetime guarantee. Bunch of crap. Do not use this company. Lot of other companies. Waste of money 40000

Storm Shield just completed our window and door project. The difference is unbelievable! The installers were second to none and cleaned up better than we expected. The project took a little long, but everything is taking longer right now than we expected it. Well worth the wait. Highly recommend this company for the quality of the product and the quality of the installation.

Storm Shield installed 16 windows in my home last week. So far we have noticed an amazing difference in the entire feel of the home. Itâ  s so quiet and the temperature stays steady in all the rooms now. The installation crew Mark and Gilbert were top notch! Clean, professional, friendly, and they definitely knew what they were doing. The install and product are even better than we expected. I will definitively recommend Storm Shield to anyone looking for windows. The Entire staff was professional and easy to work with. We wish we would have done this years ago.

Luke and Rick were great guys to work with. Very friendly and relaxed, but also hard workers. Easy to communicate with. The sliding doors are amazing! Look great and I can't hear any noise outside. I had 4 patio sliders installed and 11 windows. All projects currently have long led times with delays and I've even waited 8 months for furniture and appliances since the lockdowns so not sure how to rate the customer service. 5 stars for Rick and Luke. 5 stars for the patio sliding doors.

We got several estimates before choosing a window company to replace 18 windows. We felt Storm Shield had the best product, and the price was right in the ballpark with our other estimates. Although it was a fairly lengthy process, the final outcome is outstanding. The windows are everything we were promised and the installers Rey and Martin were polite, professional, and did a great job. Clean up was well performed and they showed us how to operate the windows. We will certainly recommend Storm Shield!

Doors (Exterior) Installation and Replacement
We made our deposit for two new doors around May 1, 2021. They spent two months getting HOA approval. We got an addition to the house approved in two weeks. As of now (10/14/21), they will not confirm a delivery date. Today they told us they resubmitted for approval to the HOA. Claim they had to do it again. Not lost on me that they had us a sign a form form that says the door may not come in for 3-5 months after ordering and they wonâ t order until they have HOA approval. I spoke to our HOA today. The project has been fully approved since July 15, 2021. They have had our deposit since May. The project got HOA approval in July. On October 15,they told us the doors will be delivered the first week of January.

I am currently discussing my options with an attorney. Horrible company. Cannot get information from employees as they donâ t have access to the files. WHAT?? Only the owner can access information. He is never on site or any where. His voicemail is full. What do employees do if they have no access to customer information. I filed a formal complaint with the Florida Department for Consumer Affairs. Donâ t hire this company. Itâ s awful.

We have not yet had the job completed. The lead time in Florida is long due to Covid. However, so far our experience has been positive. Ernie is a friendly, personable salesman. We were impressed with the quality of the hurricane windows and doors that we ordered. Their windows were the only ones that were Miami-Dade Certified. We look forward to installation day! 6+ Room New Window Service
I signed a contract with Storm Shield on 7/1/90 for windows and entry doors. The contract was for 90 days. I live in PA so I was traveling to Florida for the install. Sean the operations manager handled my project after the salesman and I was very uncomfortable with him from our first meeting as he seemed preoccupied. He seemed to not communicate well when I asked questions or verified the order. I called sean multiple times over the next 2 months checking on the install date. After finalizing the install date I planned a vacation from work and booked a flight for October. Friday the day prior to my Saturday flight sean called in the afternoon to tell me he would not be installing the windows Monday because the crew was on another Job. They showed up 2 days later after multiple complaints to the owner and I had to fly back to PA without seeing the project complete. A neighbor gave them access to complete the window install in my absence. The entry door was still not in at October install date or never ordered I returned in January for the door install to find the wrong door was delivered and 2 of the windows that required stucco repair were still masked and uncaulked to new stucco. Because they had already removed my old door they installed the incorrect door with the promise to correct it. I was uncomfortable paying my final payment with the incorrect door in place but was forced to pay under threat of legal action. Nobody returned to remove the masking from the window so I had a friend remove the masking tape, clean the glue, and caulk the windows in. In February the correct door arrived and was installed. Unfortunately, the door did not fit in the frame correctly and the sidelight was 3/4 inch higher than the door glass making it look like an obvious mistake. July 7th a technician came out and said they could not fix the mismatched heights of the door and sidelight window since they were built for different units. I requested the door unit be replaced with one that is of matching height or refund the door cost so I could purchase one elsewhere. December 2020, With the support of the door, was replaced and the issue resolved to my satisfaction. Positives The quality of the windows seems good. The installers were nice.

"I'm sorry that the issue is still standing but we jumped through hoops to correct this and the information above is untrue. We were not in business in 1990, Storm Shield was established in early 2013. July 7th I sent an install crew to re-glaze the glass which would make both units perfectly even in height and was tired away by Mrs. Rizza because she informed my installers that she would still not be happy even if the glass was even because she did not like the color of the spacer in the glass. I had been working on getting the client new inserts custom made to her liking but in 5 weeks was not able to complete the task and the client decided to file complaints online.We cannot control the pandemic and the fact that processes are taking much longer than usual, but I NEVER said I wouldn't take care of the client. We are human as well and are all in the same boat and it is what it is with timelines during a pandemic. We did not do anything except give 100% to correct the issue, but apparently we are not allowed nor are any supply chains that make or sell doors allowed to be affected by the COVID 19. It was impossible to satisfy this client unfortunately because there is no allowance for a worldwide pandemic."

Brad took the plans for my new construction and gave me an estimate for windows and doors and installation. I paid for the windows and doors up front. Months later they show up to install them and 8 out of 9 windows do not fit. Brad had to call the block mason to cut my new window sills out and lower them to make windows fit. Brad said the 1 window that was the correct size won't look right and I should lower that sill and unfortunately would have to purchase a new window since these were custom and could not be sent back for exchange. I pay for a new window and when it came in I had to drive for an hour to go pick it up myself, because Brad's work trailer burned to the ground with all his tools in it and could not return to finish the job for weeks. I asked keith (the owner) where the first window I paid for was, because I was gonna sell it on ebay. His reply was **I credited the window for brad at no charge** Brad pocketed the $650. I get the window installed and inspection next day failed because 2 windows did not pass egress. If you do not know what egress is look it up, Keith. After Brad got a new trailer he came back and repaired the 2 windows that did not pass, he also measured a window that was not closing and locking properly. At first, he told me it was an operator error then looked at it and said your right its the manufacturers problem we will get you a new window. i bought these middle of March 2019 its now April 2020 and still do not have a window because Brad measured it wrong and the replacement does not fit. Brad,Tanner,Joe,and mike did the job. I had no issues with Tanner the rest of the crew including Keith (the owner) were very unprofessional. The sliding glass doors look great and seem well-made. Windows look great, I guess a hurricane will have to hit for us to see for sure.

This person is an associate or our installer Brad, whom we did a favor for being a "friend" of Brad's, and gave him the windows and doors (MATERIAL ONLY) no installation. Storm Shield has not been contracted to do nor is Storm Shield responsible in any way for the installation or the inspection that didn't pass egress, as this person claims. This person is building his own home provided a material list only to me. Considering egress is his responsibility, not Storm Shields. Nor is it Storm Shields responsibility for any portion of the install. Brad and his guys installed for this person on a weekend, on their own time, off company time. MATERIAL ONLY IS MATERIAL ONLY LUKE. As any client will be able to see that your review is personal and these are the consequences of your own actions. Once again, this was a material only order. We have taken care of correcting the issue with the window where the sash was off a little and have provided you with the material. How or who you have install it is 100% your responsibility. And I/m sorry to say but yes, you had to drive to pick up product that was a "MATERIAL ONLY" order. Please understand and research what "MATERIAL ONLY" means before slandering a 5 star company that did you a huge favor by giving you our product at our cost!!"
