Please don't be fooled by his good rating. Perhaps years ago he was all that but unfortunately I didn't know him until December of 2017. This is now August and the work still is not complete and I'm having to look for someone else to finish and correct his work. He didn't show up most of the time and when he did he worked very little. Said he would be finished in three weeks and it's been eight months. He is not a man of his word and will lie to your face. Still cleaning up after him also. He has too many personal problems to focus on a real job. I am still trying to recover my house key from him but looks like I just need to change the locks. More money he has cost me. He improperly installed a water spicket and of course it busted and I went two days without water and a 400.00 water bill plus 125.00 for a plumber to fix his screw up. I would not recommend him to my worst enemy.

This contractor is very nice, and has great ideas that could help you with your projects, but he has a problem getting them off paper and on to the job. If he tried a little more to be on time and have all his tools, he could possibly be the man for your job.

We originally hired him in 2016 for various projects and he did excellent work including a concrete spiral staircase. We would have given him 4-5 stars. However, by mid 2017 his work ethics suffered serious collapse. His mind was not on his work and several things had to be redone. After overpaying on the final check (before project complete) it was hard to get him to return to finish the job, including correcting a leaky porch roof. We did get half of our money back. In March 2018 he told us he would not blame us if we never hired him again. That was just about the last time we saw him. So, do not pay until work is complete and you are satisfied. We were left searching for someone to redo what he left. This was a man we wanted to see succeed but when times got tough he bailed!!! So disappointed!!!

He was honest, prompt and did excellent work for us on our deck remodel, as well as some extra work to reinforce a deck for a hot tub install. He came when he said he would and completed the job on budget and on time. He was great! I would recommend him to anyone in the area needing deck work. Thank you for a job well done.

Larry worked very quickly, yet did beautiful work and cleaned up everything before he left.

Basic structure of the deck is good, finish work was not. In the end, several things left crooked, poor workmanship. At the end of the project I did not get a "thanks for your business", or "how do you like it". Sorry, but not the experience I was hoping for

I’ve used Larry and Straight Line Construction for several years for a lot of different kinds of jobs. They’ve done large jobs like a major renovation of my deck, smaller jobs like minor sheetrock repair and just about everything in between – floor repairs, painting, gutter cleaning, siding replacement, and more. I’ve found two things to be true about Larry and Straight Line. First, they are craftsmen and take pride in doing excellent work…they don’t cut corners. And second, they shoot straight with me about what I need and what I don’t need. I trust them with any job in my home.

Larry and Chris came to my house on time. Replaced two windows and did a good clean up after the work was done. They took the old windows with them. The were courteous and professional.
