Might be one of the best home construction projects I have ever had because of Tony Martinez from Straight Line Roofing. Tony was great at explaining things to me in simple terms, took fantastic before and after pictures, and was extremely professional. Tony’s quality of work and roofing knowledge also made me feel confident that the project would get done right. I would highly recommend Straight Line Roofing and specifically Tony Martinez. Any future roofing repairs needs are going to these guys! Thank you!!!

We only went with a single quote as I had high confidence with the company (I have a MS in Procurement and 20 years of purchasing experience - mostly in El Dorado County). SLR offers excellent service and excellent products - all of which was demonstrated in delivery and installation. We had our roof and gutters replaced (after 34 years) and an attic fan added. The Foremen Jorge and Kevin, Supervisors Kerry and Tony, also Johnny, Rebecca and Julia were all terrific operationally, with quality work and improvement suggestions, and clear accounting. Schedules were timely. Clean up excellent. Communications were exceptionally responsive. Jack handled sales and we were happy with the presentation, contracting process, offerings and the eventual match to our experience. Great Work and Great Company.

This is my 2nd review for Straight Line Roofing and Construction. We recently had them out to assess our home for dry rot repairs. Our Project Manager, Phil, gave us an honest assessment of the boards that needed repair or replacement, and also pointed out areas we could treat and paint so that dry rot would not occur there in the future. He noticed the gutter overflow problem on the side of our house and recommended gutter guards and a new downspout installation to better accommodate heavy rain. Several crews came out and did the repairs. Brandon, Jorge, and Taylor did the gutter work, with Tony and Mike handling the dry rot repairs. Each crew showed up on time, did a great job on their respective tasks, and cleaned up the area when finished. This is why I am a repeat customer, because I know Straight Line will complete the job as promised.

We contacted Straightline Construction to replace our houseâ s skylight that had a large crack in it (previously plastic). Phil, the Project Manager, was extremely professional and measured our skylight for replacement. He provided us with multiple options, from a standard glass replacement to skylights with shades (manual or solar). We decided on the skylight with a solar shade. Straightline made the process extremely easy. We absolutely loved how it turned out. The two person installation team did a great job and even installed the remote to open and close the shade in our kitchen. While installing the skylight they also sealed exposed nails and painted and resealed flashings. I highly recommend Straightline for your roofing needs.

Quality and seem less service from estimate to contract to scheduling to work to completion. Very pleased with all aspects of the project and quality of work. They were responsive, thorough and efficient. We are glad we went with this quality company

Straightline was on time. Work area was completely clean when job was done they explained exactly what was done. I wound up needing 2 additional tiles so they returned the following Monday with two tiles no extra charge. Thank you Angie for the referral

Phil inspected my roof for damage after a huge storm. Finding nothing in need of fixing, he let me know and charged me $0 for the inspection.

My wife and I bought our home in August this year, and as the roof looked to have some age, we weren't sure if there were any issues outside of the inspection report. In early October we contacted Straight Line Construction based on reviews we read on Yelp. As we were late in the season to get our home on their schedule, we were booked for a start date in late December, prior to the end of the year. When I realized that we in fact had a leak during the first substantial rain in mid-November, I contact Jack Borba, and through turn of events, they actually began our home one week before Thanksgiving day, and had it completely finished (demo and new roof), two days prior to Thanksgiving! I know that many jobs might not normally take as long, but we have a single story home with 3800 heated sqft., so there was a lot of roof overall. The team at Straight Line Construction did an Excellent job!! As an honorable mention, and one I personally really appreciated, once the job began, they kept in constant contact via phone and text, at multiple times throughout the day until completion! That is peace of mind that is invaluable. My wife and I would highly recommend Straight Line Construction to anyone in the market for a new roof!!! Thank you Straight Line Construction!!!

Both foremen that worked on our fascia/rafter replacement and gutter installation were awesome and showed a great deal of care, wanting to get the job done right and done well. Straight Line is a big company with lots of cross-communication happening between the salesman, project manager, project scheduler, project accountant, product supplier, and the customer, so of course some things got a little tangled. But all the work was completed in the planned time-window (and in 100à ª+ heat!). Straight Line tells you from day one that they "don't like to paint," so expect to do some pre-work and follow-up work depending on your project. I'd would consider hiring these guys for other projects.

They were prompt, communicative and did a good job for a reasonable price.

They called back very quickly to get the information about my project. They were very professional. The only two problems were that I wasn't told before I scheduled the estimate appointment that they have a minimum charge for projects, and also we played phone tag about scheduling the project once we accepted the estimate and the crew showed up to do the work without it actually being scheduled. They were quick and professional, but I wish we had actually scheduled a time to get the work done rather than them just showing up. Maybe it was a miscommunication?

I recently hired Straight Line Construction to re-roof my workshop in El Dorado CA. I set up an appointment to have the company come out and give me an estimate on my roofing project. Straight Line sent me an email conformation of the time and date along with a picture of who would be coming out to meet with me, which happen to be the owner of the company. They called me the day before to confirm the time and place, Jack showed up on time and measured my roof and did a complete inspection of the job. After the inspection he noted and explained any issues that he observed during his inspection. I had other contractors come out and give me bids and they didn���t even go on the roof for a detailed inspection. Jack then walked me thru all the necessary materials needed to prepare my sub roof for the new roofing, he gave me his best estimated cost for the materials and labor that he thought would be needed and fully explained that he could not see all the damage the was under the existing roof. He took the time to explain all the materials he would be using for the repairs to the roof and that after his team stripped the old roofing off his crew would do another inspection of the roof and that I would be notified of any additional materials needed with the added cost to make my sub roof ready for the new asphalt shingles. Straight Line was also the only contractor that re-nailed the entire sub roof to insure that there would be no give in the sub roofing. He then gave me an option of the different grades of Asphalt shingles and the different colors I could choose from. My house had been re-roofed in the last couple of years before I purchased the property and he also told me he could match my house with the same style of shingle. I was then given a detailed bid with three different types of payment plans and an estimated time that they could start the job and the estimated time the job would take. Jack walked me through the entire process asking me questions to make sure I understood his company���s process from beginning to end; he did not put any pressure on me to make a decision at that time and told me to take whatever time I required. He was very professional and respectfully of my time and was willing to do whatever I require to insure a happy customer and a good quality sub roof and roof when the job was complete. I chose his company and set a time that they would start the job; his team showed on time and performed all the work that was quoted in his bid and on time. His team did a great job and answered any questions asked. They kept my shop well protected from any debris and the finished job looks great, you can���t even tell they were there when they finished the job. After his crew completed the work, his foreman made a complete inspection of the job to make sure everything was done as per there bid and up to all the codes and asked if there were any questions and answered any questions I had. Quick response for a bid to do general mntce on a 12 year old cement tile roof. Didn't have a problem but wanted a roof vent base sealed down and tile checked. They checked the roof out in detail, took pictures, proposed replacing a number of tiles and cleaning a couple of blind valley's. Not the lowest price quoted but they did a thorough job, made sure the roof was in very good condition and said it should be good for another 10 years, and then do another check up. They were very good about explaining what they thought should be done and why, and then proceeded to complete the job without any problems. Very professional service, I think the roof tech's name was Mat? He was very experienced, answered my questions and provided information about the tile roof that I should know about. Good company, will use them again if the need comes up.
