Strate Painting

Ron is a really great painter!

Strate Paint was called in for estimates to paint my Chalet in 2010. Various options were presented to clean up a cheap product which had turned powdery residue. Sadly the wrong product was applied to a two year old rough cedar sided three level custom built. A frame style home. I was very clear about the product I intended him to use and needed clarity on the time line and cost. Several swatches were made up of selected transparent stain. It took Ron seven or so weeks to complete the project- managing the location, pitch of roof coupled by various complexities of product relating to climate factors, finishing in October. Arborcoat- applied six years ago is still in excellent shape, the sun side of the home needs touch up otherwise the trim seems to be all that is flaking. The application of Arborcoat- has been a factor in the preservation of my stand alone structure through the Valley fire Sept. 2015. Labor: Estimates and options Handmade presented swatches (not off the corporate store wall) Expertise Scaffolding (three plus levels including cedar sided chimney) Experienced power wash Restored and recovered cedar of strike lines left from the first painter who was fired. Prompt contained clean up each day Very respectful communications and awarness to occupants of home (single woman) Cost: Estimate was around 7000 Final was under at 6500 or so

Ronald is an excellent painter! One of the best painters I've used by far.
