Wood or Fiber Cement Siding Installation or Complete Replacement
Craig and his team are amazing. They worked almost nonstop for 3 weeks to install Hardie plank siding on my house. They also installed a sliding glass door, replaced several windows (Craig was great with suggestions about picture vs casement windows) as well as removing windows that weren’t up to code and making the necessary structural changes. I also had them replace my soffits and gutters. It looks like I have a whole new house!!!

Stronghold enclosed our existing porch and added a deck. They also improved our front porch with trek flooring etc. The crew, Darwin, Elvis and others worked meticulously and were very flexible with our requests and updates to the project. The painting, wood work, constructing steps, installation of windows were all done carefully. Craig the owner was in contact throughout the project and it was obvious that he had a fantastic, trusting relationship with his crew. We are very pleased with the results and will have further outdoor painting etc in the spring.

Craig, Darwin, Elvis and the rest of the crew are true professionals. They show up on time ready to work. At the end of each day, they cleaned up the work area before leaving. I was kept informed about what they were doing. If there was more than one way to do something, they asked for my preference on how I wanted it done. In the end, I have a beautiful house that looks just like I imagined it.
In addition, they replaced a rotten deck support post and added an outdoor GFI electrical outlet. These were add-ons after the siding contract had been signed. Craig, the owner of the company, was extremely fair and easy to work with. He stayed in contact with me throughout the project. Even after the job was done he came back to make sure I was satisfied.
I would wholeheartedly recommend Stronghold Improvements to anyone looking for a trustworthy, professional contractor.

We hired Stronghold Improvement to replace 40 windows in our home. The crew did amazing work. You can tell that they’re highly experienced. They completed the job four days before the committed timeframe. The crew worked through some treacherous weather. They went the extra mile and even helped fix some issues they found while uninstalling the old windows, that had nothing to do with their work. Can’t say enough about how great this crew is. Price was in line with all the other competition, but the crew and the work they did is hands down one of the best in the area. We will be hiring them again for additional services. When you find a crew as good as Stronghold, you find other projects for them to do. They will be replacing our deck in the spring.

Working with Craig and is team was an absolute pleasure! Craig is super responsive and easy to work with and most importantly, HONEST, in what I have learned to be a dishonest industry. They installed hardie board on a bump out on our house. They came and completed the project exactly as projected. I canâ t wait to hire them for future projects. 10/10 recommend!!! After meeting with four different siding companies we are so happy we entrusted Stronghold Improvement to remodel our entire home's siding that was originally from the 1970's. Craig, Darwin, and their team of craftsmen were an absolute joy to work. We purchased a property built in 1973 and the wood siding was rotting and in need of either cleaning/restaining or replacement. Originally the plan was to restain and get it looking good again, however knowing that I would be dealing with it again in less than ten years I solicited a request for insulated vinyl siding. After speaking with two or three contractors, we decided to move forward with Stronghold Improvements to update the exterior of the home. The quotes for the scope of work were about the same, however after meeting Craig and discussing the project, it was pretty clear who I would be going with. He and his team completely transformed the home. Along the way, they discovered imperfections such as rotting wood or areas in need of paint and corrected the deficiencies. If I could post a photo or two with this review I would. The house looks amazing. It's not inexpensive, but it is a worthwhile investment. You will not go wrong going with Stronghold Improvements.

I interviewed 3 different contractors for my Windows & Siding project, and while Stronghold wasn't the lowest price, working with Craig made all of the difference. He was very communicative throughout the entire process and helped me determine the best materials and options for my home. My neighborhood is older, so while I didn't change the "shape" of my house, the selections he helped me make modernized it so well, that everyone that walks by compliments the new look and feel of it. His installers were lovely people, both Darwin & Elvis and did great work! I'd recommend Stronghold to anyone that asks!

I interviewed three companies to replace the exterior siding and deck of my townhouse last summer. I felt most comfortable with the owner of Stronghold Improvements when he came out to review the scope of work and explain his approach to the project. It would be another ten months before I was ready to move forward with the project -- and several months into the pandemic -- when business was busy and materials were in short supply. Still, he kept in constant communication with me and was able to work my project into his company's work schedule. The team he assigned to my home was top-notch. They encountered several unanticipated challenges along the way but always managed to be creative and resourceful in offering solutions. I could not be more pleased with the results of the siding/decking project and will plan to use this company in the future. One of the things I loved most about this company: the mutual respect and admiration between employer and employees.

Vinyl Siding Install or Completely Replace
I had the original siding removed, had insulation board installed and wrapped and then installed new vinyl siding on the whole house. They also wrapped all of the trim. Stronghold s service was amazing and we just love how the house looks now. They also addressed all areas of concern for me. I now feel like my house is properly sealed and insulated from the outside. I highly recommend them and plan to use their services again in the future.

Craig and his team were responsive to our questions and adhered to the timeline promised. They were friendly and professional. It was an expensive project but we bid it with two others and we liked the personal perspective Craig gave us.. They offered a competitive price and we wanted quality work. They did not disappoint!!

Wonderful company to work with. They took all of the old siding off my historic home, insulated and replaced all of the clapboard siding with Hardi-Plank. Beautiful detailed work. Excellent service and completed the job as quoted. I can highly recommend Stronghold Improvements.

The installers did not pUT insulation around the windows. I fact, left a 3/4 inch gap in my kitchen window. Didn't know they botched it until the windows leaked. If you hire them, be present to make sure they apply the insulation!!

Craig was professional and responsive. He was knowledgeable about the Hardie product and made sure the job was done correctly, I appreciated that he was honest with me about how much of my siding needed to be replaced and reviewed the options with me. He also was willing to compare costs of cedar vs. Hardie. I am very pleased with the results and highly recommend Stronghold Improvements.
