Stuart Exteriors

David Stuart owner of Stuart Exteriors is a fraud. BEWARE. We hired him after we saw Home-Advisor rewiews. He came to our Beecher home in early May this year. He gave us an estimate for replacement of windows and install new exterior siding. On May 15 we gave him a deposit check for 8K dollars to order Pella windows and to start ordering siding. He cashed the check same day. The windows were to arrive in 4-6 weeks. Now we wait and wait. He doesn’t answer texts or calls for days. He took off an existing garage door and replace with lumber as we requested. That was the extent of his job performance over the entire summer. He would say he was coming over then not show up. He finally said the windows would be delivered by July 15th. No windows by August 1st. The first week of August he removed existing siding from 2 walls. With no windows on site that go in before the siding? We called Mr. Stuart’s Pella representative only to find Mr. Stuart never ordered the windows. He has refused to respond to our requests for a full refund. We have contacted the States Attorney’s Office to report contractor fraud. They urged us to file a complaint. We will have our day in court.
