Our project with Studio D+R wasn’t a big one —- just a small balcony. But it was an important one to my husband and me because that balcony is on the front of our house and is a major design element and focal point. Even though it wasn’t a huge project, Martin Mervel was fully invested in giving us a great result and he delivered. He was a real pleasure to work with.

Working with Martin and Sree has been nothing short of a pleasant experience. Upon our first meeting, the team clicked. I hired Sreerag and his architectural firm to design and reconfigure my home in West Los Angeles a couple of years back. The house was old and run down and very dated. The kitchen and one of the bathrooms was totally gutted and redesigned. It also included knocking down a load-bearing wall to open up the kitchen to the living quarters. It all worked out beautifully. Sreerag hired a contractor and oversaw the entire remodel from start to finish. I am one happy customer and will definitely hire them again if/when I need them.

Studio designed a total remodel of one house for me, and a smaller modification to another house. I found them to be very creative, and they also had the technical ability to show their designs in 3D simulations. Crucially, they worked efficiently within the system of building codes and permits. Highly recommend.

Martin, Sree and team were fantastic across the board. Both kind and professional human beings. Made the experience of getting new plans and permits oddly enough both tolerable and enjoyable. Couldn't recommend them anymore. They actually care and were attentive and solution oriented every step of the way.
