Write a ReviewMy furnace stopped working, naturally on coldest day so far this year. I called a service. They came out, looked at the furnace and told me the cost of repair would be $2,200 and the parts would take two weeks to come in. They suggested an entire new unit would be a better way to go, as mine was 10 years old. Cost of a new furnace would be $7,000. I contacted Suburban Comfort Heating and Cooling and arranged for somebody to come out the next day. Justin, the technician, arrived that evening and took some time inspect the furnace components and pinpoint the problem. He was nice enough to explain to me what the components do separately and how they worked as a system. It turned out that the problem was with the pressure sensor. He ordered the part and picked it up the next day. Once he installed it, the furnace fired up and has been running nicely since. Total cost for the home visit, parts and labor was $280. I appreciated Justin's expertise, prompt service and customer service. I will definitely use Suburban Comfort Heating and Cooling in the future when needed and request Justin as my technician.
Excellent service and price ! Would count on these people to perform any service in the future! Thanks
BEWARE!!! 0 Stars! Read the negative reviews! Chris doesnâ t know what he is doing. He told me he was confident he could fix my unit by replacing some parts. after he replaced some parts and charged me $220, he told me could not fix it and that I needed a new unit. Gave me a quote of $3200 and told me to go and compare prices with other companies. Same thing he said to one of the other reviewers here. I got duped. Called another company, they came out and fixed the air conditioner. There were burn marks on the inside of my thermostat as well as the electronics on the fan, which could have started a fire. This joke of a Company will not call me back and my emails are now being rejected. I may have been satisfied with just a return call just to make me feel like they cared or pretend like they cared, not even that. My husband is an attorney and I will pursue charges. I wonder if they are even licensed and anything that goes on. I gave them an opportunity to make good. No response. Iâ m not sure how there are so many good reviews but BEWARE!
They was great.
Justin does great work . Everything promised was done .Will use again if needed
Great service, great price. The guys were prompt, explained what the issues may have been, and what they were doing to fix them. I had questions regarding possible additional work in the future, and Jim was extremely helpful and up-front about what those jobs may entail and how much they may cost.
They were on time!! A team of two (Chris & Justin). They were so polite, and explained everything in detail. In these times where most of us are afraid to have people come in and give estimates, I would HIGHLY recommend this Company. I hope this team will be available when I call for our ACs to be checked in the Spring.
Jim showed up and immediately found the problem with our furnace. There was no pressure to buy. We did have the furnace replaced with a comparable model for a reasonable price. The work was all completed the same day.
They made sure the job got done correctly.
I was given a quote for a flame sensor for$165. The sensor cost me $7 online
We are a full service heating and cooling company we do not sell parts wholesale. We buy them directly from the manufacturer not on some cheesy website. This person not only did not know what was wrong with their furnace and we had to properly diagnose it and we had the part on our truck and his bill was $165 including the service call fee and the diagnostics which is extremely fair across-the-board with other full service companies. I do not think we need to apologize for not being a company that drives around for free, telling people what is wrong for their furnace for free and sell parts below wholesale. What do you think?
