Write a ReviewUpdate 4/4/2024 : I received â nice professionalâ response to a Yelp review, but they still havenâ t responded to phone calls nor emails as to my 500.00 refund due from 3/15. This company has been reported to the BBB. I attached a Reddit thread with customers who had the same thing happened. This is a â bad businessâ to invest in- go elsewhere. Requested a refund in the time parameter of the contact cancellation deadline, and no refund has been issued. Contract is very â muddyâ on climbing stairs, distance of moving items, additional tipping to drivers, possible additional fees of items, and how far they have to be carriedâ ¦. This place seemed very professional on the phone and text, but overall once I cancelled the move because I found a better alternative, I havenâ t heard anything since. I am pretty diligent when it comes to businesses, but I would say avoid this one because of the â muddyâ changes that may or may not be on the horizonâ ¦ they canâ t guarantee a price change, even though you have a signed contract which I was told later. (I sent pictures of the items being sent). This is sad, and I understand businesses are hurting â ¦. So just be careful and make sure no extortion type behavior is possible through the contract signed otherwise you might just be price gouged with moving items being held hostage.
This is a fake company ran by scammers they will steal your money and hire contractors who will extort you for more money when they arrive with your stuff.

Working with Pleasant Movers was a wonderful experience. They made the booking process very easy, the movers on the day were incredibly kind, time efficient, and helpful. I was moving on my own, which was a bit nerve wracking, but they really made me feel taken care of. The quality of work and customer service was far superior to the cheap moving brokers Iâ ve used in the past. Would absolutely book them again!

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. I put down a $450 deposit to lock in pricing. The day before my move, they attempted to double the price of my move because of an administrative error on their end. When I refused to pay more they canceled my move & refused to refund my deposit.
