Hired to install a simple back door. The door was custom order and expensive. He arrived unprepared with his girlfriend/wife and did not seem to have the tools necessary to complete the job. He destroyed the door, knocking of the preinstalled brick molding, he ripped off the interior trim and destroyed it, first attempt to install was .75-1.0 off plumb. He gave excuses of why it was not going to be straight in the door jamb. I have flipped more than 20 houses, having done much of the work myself and worked with professionals. He seems to know very little about how to properly install a door. I have filed a complaint with Service Magic.

He returned my call same day I needed service and did repair same day.I do still have issues with the object he fixed.I am satisfied for speedy service but not satisfied with the outcome of project.

I should have shopped around and possibly paid less for labor from Lowe's. but I have to say the gentlemen who came to my home were very polite, did the job well and I thank them for not charging me the original quote they gave me which was high and I did not know any better. They gave me a senior discount which helped bring things down, since I paid for the door, door handles and box of long screws. Material 235.93. labor to install door, trim, locks 425. Senior discount 125. Total cost to me 585.93. Expensive.

Mr. Sullivan was a quick and timely fence repairer. I received a call within 15 minutes of requesting a fence repairer. We set up a time within the hour and he was complete 30 minutes later. Sullivan did not bring any help other than his little boy and I had to assist with the install of my fence. I was requested to buy other hardware than what I had originally purchased and was asked if my husband could put it on. Once hardware was installed the screws were too long and had to be cut to lenghth. One piece of plywood was split and I did not want to use it and when I wouldn't go and purchase a replacement piece he installed it anyway. Gate was cut incorrectly and a one board gap occured and he pieced it together to the secure side and stated the gate will eventually sag and to get a wheel to put on the gate as it was too heavy. Last piece of gate didn't marry to secure part of the fence and he cut the gate to make it fit and the wood split at the bottom creating a gap at bottom of gate. I would not recommend this contractor to my friends or family as I do not feel he is a professional in putting up fences.
