After my well stopped about 5 on Friday afternoon, I looked up well pump repair businesses near me. All advisor and review sites had high marks for Sullivan, and he had a Pittsboro address. I called him at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday and he was at my home by 9:45. After some diagnostics he determined I needed a new pump. He had one the right size on his truck. It appeared of better quality than the 15 year-old pump we were replacing. I happily helped him out a bit by climbing into my quite tight and messy well house and doing what was needed in there. I learned a lot about replacing well pumps in the process. He was a neat guy to chat with. We were done by just after 11. Though I've not priced well pumps I thought he charged a very good and fair price. He even took a bit off his labor since I "helped" him. That was kind of him. His speedy and professional service meant that what I thought would be a long weekend water outage only lasted a few hours. I recommend him highly.

They were very prompt, gave me an honest assessment. They will be back. They are busy and while they kept me going I want more work done. No fault here at all. I will have something rescheduled with them as I felt he was honest and trustworthy. There are many service people who will not work in my rural area. He does and travels all over. This is a big plus for me. He obviously knows his stuff and gives you an honest assessment of what is wrong and what needs to be done. I found his pricing to be on target and reasonable.

My well pump went out, which also damaged my tank and switch. Came out on a Sunday when others could only come out on Monday or Tuesday. Very professional, explained and showed the problem.

Keep in mind, everyone is very busy, so be patient. I feel I was provided with a simple solution. Very thorough with explaining.

Steve was very communicative about when he would come, although I did some testing beforehand, he was very knowledgeable about what he was doing. He didn't mind my asking questions while we were under the house and at the well site. He installed a tank pressure switch, and installed a new well pump. When he finished, the water pressure was good and strong, just like it was before we had problems. I would recommend Steve again and again!

Steve Sullivan was the only contractor who was willing to come and look at my problem. I needed a new well lining, and evidently not many people want to do this type of work. Although the work took a little longer than I hoped it would, now that it is is done my well water is cleaner now than it was when I had to use a whole house filter. He did excellent work at a good price. I would recommend him to anyone in the area and will call him again if needed.

Steve called immediately. He came to the house quickly and fixed our problem. The only complaint that I have is our water pressure is lower than it's ever been. But at least we have water. He is very knowledgeable, nice and courteous. I would definitely recommend him to family and friends. I will call him in the future if I need a well man.
