Summit did a good job on this garage door opener motor replacement. The one thing that caught me off guard was they provided a cost estimate then one day later called and said they could do it for $110 less. $670 to $560. Which leads me to believe they over bid the cost intentionally. While I appreciate the reduced cost it still leaves a bad taste in my mouth. So, anyone that hires this company, haggle on their initial bid.

To clarify, you were offered two different types of opener the first being a LiftMaster 8160WB which is a different model from the 8164W we sold and installed for you. There was no sort of initial overbidding as the pricing for the opener we offered you still stands at the same price we originally offered. We hope this clears up any confusion you may have had and for other customers as well, thank you!

I had summit Garage doors come out to my house after my door wouldn't open locking my car inside. Not only was the technician very informative informative in his explanations on how garage doors work, he was also very polite And he gave us a great deal on our project. I will only ever hire summit garage doors again
