There was a lot of miscommunication, and I am not entirely sure which side was correct. The team made many mistakes; they claimed they were instructed to lay down landscaping fabric in the flower beds without adding mulch, even though it had been discussed that we would use peat moss and rubber mulch. They later brought mulch but charged an additional fee for it. They were asked to remove all the river rock from a specific area, then add topsoil and plant grass seed. When we pointed out that there were still a significant number of rocks visible, the worker acted as though he would remove them as agreed upon when he was hired. However, moments later, they applied the topsoil and planted the seed anyway. The team was also instructed to leave all the hosta plants and separate them for replanting in another section of the yard. Unfortunately, they destroyed all the hostas. Zack and his crew at Summit Outdoor made swift work of the edging , mulching, weed removal and stump removal. The results look great! Zack was also very communicative when it came to scheduling and choosing a mulch color. In person he was very respectful and offered some advice too. His quote was also fair (I had two other quotes prior). I will definitely use Summit Outdoor again for my next mulching.

Summit Outdoor Services did a great job installing mulch and edging at our place. Everything looks clean and professional, and the crew was easy to work with. Showed up on time, worked hard, and got everything done quickly. Definitely recommend them for landscaping work.
