Very extensive job lasting a few weeks. I replaced front steps, porch and part of my driveway with hardscape and the balance of my driveway with asphalt. Very pleasant working with the owner, Jerry and father-in-law Paddy. They took care of all the problems and offered suggestions on improving the end result. I felt the price was reasonable for all the work and was amazed at all the material needed for the job. Their workers had a great work ethic and stayed late some days to reach a good point. Highly recommend the company.

They came and tore up the old driveway and installed a dry-well for water build up when it rains. Lined the driveway with Belgian blocks and installed new apron with and walkway with pavers. New stone fascia and treads were installed on stoop and in porch. Everything was smoothly and timely done. Quality asphalt used and highly recommended.

Did a really good job but didn't clean up everything today. They said they would come back but I haven't seen them. They could have been a little more tidy than they were, however they were still very responsive and did come out right away.

I called Summit Paving and Masonry on April 16, 2019, after reading the great reviews the company received on Angie's List. Jerry, the owner, answered his own phone, and agreed to come to my home and give an estimate. He came and we discussed repairing my front walkway and stoop I was so impressed with his knowledge and professionalism, that by the time we finished talking over the next few days, I had contracted with him to replace the front walkway, stoop, driveway, and.rear walkway. I had the above work done with maintenance free pavers. Jerry began and finished the job when he said he would. He came on time everyday, and worked with his crew to make sure everything was done correctly and answered all of my questions. If I needed to call him for anything, he either answered his phone, or called me right back. He even helped with documentation I needed for my Town codes. The workmanship is excellent, and it was a pleasure dealing with him. I highly recommend him, and would not hesitate to use him again.

After having interviewed four companies to do the asphalt and masonry work at my home we decided to hire Summit Paving and Masonry to do all of the work, and I'm glad we did. I just had a very good feeling upon meeting them. Gerry O'Connor and Pat were awesome to do business with. They are the utmost professionals, super nice guys and our job was priced very fairly. We have two driveways and were only going to redo one of them because we thought it would be too costly to do both. Gerry gave us a great deal on the second driveway so we couldn't resist doing it. One of our driveways was really narrow and very difficult to navigate because of the hills on either side. He was able to widen it and made it much more functional. We also had pavers added to our patio in our back yard and they really did a beautiful job on all of the projects. We would highly recommend them. Our neighbor liked our driveways so much she immediately hired them to do hers. We have some more paver work to do around our pool and will have them back as soon as we can to do that too!

There aren’t enough words to describe how pleased I am with Summit. Gerry and his crew were phenomenal from start to finish. From my first call to the completion of the job,Gerry was right on top of it all and kept me informed on everything. The job was finished timely and I got the job I wanted at a better price than I was getting from other companies. Summit Paving did an excellent job in remodeling our driveway,walkway, and stoop. Jerry came over for a consultation to provide his vision for our remodel and answered any questions we had. He crew was at our house for several days and kept everything very clean and neat. Upon completion, my wife and I noticed that we received the wrong stone for the facing of the stoop steps. Jerry came immediately to address the concern/issue and provided us with a solution that we would be happy with. We definitely have the best looking stone work on the block thanks to Summit Paving. I will definitely will be calling Jerry in the future to remodel our backyard patio.

They met my requested timetable for installing the walkway & patio. I only wish they would have covered the areas were the work was done as it resulted in my needing to power wash all the screens & windows on the screen room & still trying to clean my painted front cedar shakes.

We hired Jerry to replace a crumbling driveway and two walkways, with pavers, for my 94 year old father. I live in Tennessee and my father lives in N.Y. I was there for the estimate and as soon as Jerry stepped out of his truck, he said that the driveway was too narrow and the house had no curb appeal, which was all true . He spoke about widening the driveway and meeting the garage to improve the shape of the driveway. We also agreed that it would be best to widen the walkways in the front and on the side of the house. The job started after 3 weeks as promised. They worked in a heat wave and finished in about a week. The pavers look beautiful and the wider driveway and walkways are much nicer. The workers were efficient. Everything Jerry said he was going to do was completed. Jerry is an honest, trustworthy professional. His work is beautiful and pricing was competitive. I was in Tennessee when the job was done but Jerry was great to deal with, so me not being there to oversee the work was not a problem. He answered questions when I called and sent pics so I could see the job progressing and then completed. He was good with my father, even checking on him during heat wave and walking him outside to see the completed work. I had a very positive experience and highly recommend Summit Paving and Masonry.

I was trying to hire a friend of a friend to do the job but he kept blowing us off. We found Jerry thru angies list, called him at 7pm and he came right over. We hired him on the spot and he started, as promised, two weeks later. Everything went great. Jerry and his crew were very professional and reliable. He was always available with any concerns or questions. They arrived on time and started right away. I would highly recommend using Jerry!! And would use him again!!!

The project was completed on time and turned out even better than I hoped. Jerry was thorough and professional and made me feel like my job was a top priority- the pillars came out beautiful too. I’m so glad that I used Summit and will use him again for future projects.

The job was performed in September 2017 and the driveway has held up through this season's cold weather and snow. The driveway needed to be completely redone including re-placement of the edging Belgian blocks. We decided to add an apron with pavers similar in color to the Belgian blocks. The outcome was beautiful. We were very happy with the driveway when the work was completed and are pleased that the winter weather has not affected its appearance. Gerry was straight forward and very easy to work with.

It went great. We were only looking to have our driveway broken down and repaved, but ended up showing Jerry several other projects we had in mind. He had some excellent ideas on how to improve the the walkway and we had a terrible concrete front porch. He did pavers lining the driveway and then the walkway and front step. Absolutely gorgeous. We also showed him our deck that was falling apart in the back. He tore that down and gave us a beautiful staircase and patio with the pavers. We had a few snags (this house always does) but they were all handled in a professional way.

Jerry was very prompt in providing an estimate for the job, and very patient in waiting for me to get the necessary permit to start the work (condo board fault). As soon as I got the permit he and his crew started and finished the job in one day. He also raised one square of the cement walkway leading to the patio so there wouldn't be a slight step. The first attempt at this was not attractive so he refinished it and it looked much better.
