I had a large accumulation of leaves from neighboring properties blow into my yard during a wind event. It was too much for me! Went to Home Advisor, got people calling almost immediately. Ryan from Sun and Shade called and said he would be in the area on Thursday and he would have equipment with him to handle it. He said he would call and give me a price that day. He did as he said. We agreed on it and he took care of it. He did exactly as I expected! He saved me tons of time and did so at a fair price. Dependability, reliability, and a fair price. Things that are hard to find today and Ryan did it! I would definitely recommend Sun and Shade for lawn service. Good job guys!

Ryan returned my call, stooped over that morning to assess the yard, and called back with a quote, all within a few hours. It was a reasonable quote and he said he could do it the next day! They came early the next morning to clean up my out of control weed jungle, and cut down some runaway ivy-like plant that was covering my evergreens. I came home to a clean yard, and I was so excited to finally see it, and not a single weed in sight. I would definitely recommend them!!

Ryan called telling me the time he would be at my home . Brought more than enough materials and crew to do the work and mulch several areas including a hilly area. The crew was extremely professional, did exactly what I requested. Improved my yard 100%. rec. compliments on work every yr. I have had them in the past and will again. Provides reasonable rates, on time, great work ethic, professional, hardworking crew. Ryan bends over backwards to make customer happy! Would highly recommend co. Returns calls quickly and gives prompt service! Very honest guy! Highly rec. Sun & Shade!!

i was quoted a price for the job and when i got the bill it was $400 more when i called about the extra charge i was told it was for equipment rental and top soil. don't know about any body else but i think that is a poor business practice to give a price then charge $400 more , should have been told up front that they don't have the equipment to do the job and i would be charged for it , would not hire them again

They were able to assess my yard, and call me with a quote within in an hour. They were unable to get a hold of me, so out of good faith they preformed the services. I thought that was great customer service. Although I did feel liable to pay at that point, they still provided a lower price and the previous company I called for a one time service.

I am in FL and work was for my mom in PA. They called me back immediately, were at my mom's the next day and went over everything on the phone with me while w/my mom. They came out while I was there on vacation and got job done as promised. They are also taking care of the mowing. Their team of workers was very friendly and polite, they came as scheduled, always return calls. All the neighbors were impressed as well. Would recommend them without hesitation.

The early bird gets the worm and Ryan did just that!! Ryan came by quickly to give us an estimate for this job. The price was reasonable and correct for the work that was needed to be done. The crew was fast and pleasant. I will call them again!

Not dependable; takes short cuts; put raked leaves in street causing the police to contact me to have them reoved, of course I had to remove them myself because he was busy. Will never use him again.

"In response to Mr. H's comment, his leaves were placed at the curb for municipality pick up and disposal, as the majority of townships in Lancaster County offer this service. Mr. H was informed that if curb pick up was not offered, we would return to complete the job to his satisfaction. Our company strives for customer satisfaction. We regret that Mr. H was not pleased with the services that we provide. Our philosophy is to work with our clients and maintain a professional repoire."

I understand it was into the season for lawncare and Ryan was very busy. He came out to inspect our ( mine and my daughters ) lawn gave me a quote and I hired him. My daughters lawn was high and he did what he had to do. Since we are now on his schedule and he is going to show up every week our lawns are in his hands.
