"Dear Renie M. We've read your review and are sorry to learn of your unpleasant experience. We're also sorry you weren't willing to meet with me (the owner)... I had planned on doing everything I could to try and make things right for you. Our aim has always been to give our clients the utmost in service and professionalism at an affordable and fair price for both parties.We accept responsibility for not being able to give you a definitive price as our policy on the kind of work you were seeking to have done isn't something we are able to give definitive prices on (I'll explain shortly) which is why we gave you an estimate.  The reason for estimates is to protect against the "unknowns" which we encounter fairly regularly. Examples of unknowns include, but are not limited to, tree roots that need to be addressed, underground line breaks, underground wiring issues, the additional costs to address "unknowns" like rental equipment, special or custom parts, etc. We accept responsibility and apologize for Kyle coming across as being impatient. Unfortunately, we have our crews (including Kyle's) working a fairly tight schedule as we try and help as many clients as we can during this very demanding time of the year which doesn't afford him a lot of extra time to be spent with clients who have lots of questions. If Kyle came across as frustrated, it's likely because he knows that as he takes time out to answer questions (which oftentimes leads to even more questions), the less time he'll be focused on the work that he knows needs to be done which in turn increases the costs to clients due to our charging an hourly rate while we are on sites for repair work. Kyle knows clients are inclined to not appreciate having to pay for techs who aren't actually performing the necessary work.  Of course, higher than expected costs to clients isn't something we look forward to providing. It's disappointing to both clients and us as we pride ourselves on delivering better than expected value.We accept responsibility for estimates sometimes being on what some clients might consider the higher side as we prefer to come in with a final finished price below an estimate versus above it.
