First I don?t not think the guys that work for the owners duct work company work for him directly. They are sub contracted. So I had this company come out and do the initial estimate. From what was explained to me the ducts the boots and vents where all getting replaced and for the price I paid that?s what should have been the case. Now this is sort of my fault. What I was told and and what on the quote was different. Apparently on the quote. The vents and boots where not being replaced just the ducts. Now I paid 8500 for the job. That is on the high side and and for the boots and vents to not be replaced is kinda crazy. So they did the work. I had an insulation guy come by. A guy we used on a previous house to install insulation. Boy was he not happy with the installation. He said there where leaks everywhere which I have pictures of. They did come back and they told me they fixed it. Let see when my insulation guy comes back what he says
