Excellent crew. On time, attention to detail, efficient. Fair price.

Super nice crew! But we booked in January and were told we would've the first job when the weather was good enough. We did not end up with our house pAinted until July. The contract specified. Cleaning with bleach to remove mildew on our wood doors and it was not done, paint all over the stone and vinyl on our windows. Wrong colors in certain areas and a portion of the job left undone.

I did a great deal of shopping around for this project, Sunrise prices were the best. The service and the crew were wonderful, so nice to see people happy at work. When in need, I will absolutely call on them again!

The exterior painting was very well done. The painter was congenial and very positive. He masked everything that needed it and didn't skimp. He brought to my attention a couple areas of dry rot, which I repaired and they aligned the boards at the peak where they had warped apart, screwed and caulked, then painted. I was very satisfied with the results. I would not hesitate to call them again.

The job was to texture and paint the ceiling in the entire house, plus paint the two story entryway. The job was done even better than I hoped. They did exactly what I asked, were informative, friendly, and cost effective. The job was done on time. I would hire them again for sure.

We would recommend Richard and his crew to anyone looking for an exterior painting service in the Portland area. Sunrise Painting Co. provided us with the first (and best) quote we received after meeting with four different companies in the area. We initially ended up hiring a different painter (CertaPro), largely because of charm and some slick salesmanship. BIG MISTAKE. After firing CertaPro, we did a gut-check and immediately called Sunrise, which is what we should have done in the first place. Richard was very patient and kind, and after some weather delays his crew did a great job.

Sunrise Painting provided the most professional and thorough proposal we received. They were also able to do some additional work on our gutters, allowing us to hire only one contractor for all jobs. We would not hesitiate to call them again for anything we need done around the house.
