Critical: Professionalism, Responsiveness Have an ongoing dispute. The salesman stated he has nothing to do with this matter. Dispite numerous calls, e-mails and 2 certified return reciept letters, no response. Given a substancial deposit to sunview enterprises. I informed the permit company and owner not to file for a permit as there was a potential issue with the measurements taken by salesman. (informed possibly may not be within town codes after plans were drawn up by architect in June 2023). I also stated that I would pay for the architect as he did draw up plans and should be compensated. Since June 2023, I have yet to receive a call back to rectify this matter. After posting above review on google and company website, I finally received a call from company telling me their lawyer would be contacting me to reesolve this issue. It has been approximately 2 weeks and I have yet to receive a response. The paperwork was dated 03/15/2022. A $12,300.00 check was given. I have yet to receive an itemized invoice, partial refund.

I had pleasant conversation with Sunview Enterprise owner Bruce recently, it seems that we had miscommunication, he has resolved all my problems, and I would like to give him credit on his feedback. Our sunroom is my family and cat's favorite room now, really enjoy staying the sunroom.

Bruce and his crew were great. Did a 3 season room in my back yard 6 weeks ago. I would not hesitate to use them again.

There is two leaks in my sunroom, he is not responding to my communication. I had always wanted a sunroom, I retired and worked so hard for this and now it smells very bad due to the mold that is growing from the leaks so I cannot even enjoy it.

My lady and I wanted to add a room onto her property, in Riverhead, NY. So, we looked them up on Home Advisor, figuring nothing could go wrong. This was the only company that was listed on the website, so she called. They came out and seemed very professional. Things seemed to really start off well. They took the initial down payment and that was when things went downhill. She gave them an $8,000 down payment. It took them several months to get the permit. We gave them the benefit of the doubt that it was from major tie ups with the town of Southampton. Finally, they began the work in November, stating that it will take 3 weeks. This did not happen, in fact, at one point he promised that the work would be finished by the 15th of January, as we needed it finished by then for the dogs as they were being spayed and that room was being built specifically for them. The 15th of January came and went and the room still had no electric, windows or anything that resembled the room was near completion. She has had to call repeatedly to get the electrician to complete his part of the job. The initial installation of the insulation was less than professional and had to be done again. We also had to come out of pocket and additional $400 for a fire alarm that had to be connected, which wasnt included in the estimate. She has had to call repeatedly, to no avail, to get the room completed. All too often, Bruce (the owner of the company) wont answer the phone or return phone calls. It has been 9 months and the room still has no windows; the electric is still not on; the front door is not properly aligned and will not lock easily and leaks when it rains; the roof leaks in the middle where the ceiling fan is supposed to be; and there is a mess stacked up around the house the office keeps complaining about. It has gotten to the point that we are now considering other actions, as we need this room completed. The photos are as of this date, 28 March 2020, 9 months after the down payment, and after all payments were made on time, since then, totaling $37,000. The only reason the trash, left behind, is organized is because we had to do it in an effort to slow down the complaints coming in from the front office and the community. You can see, in the pics, where the water is leaking through the roof and will run into the ceiling fan, currently it is running onto the floor below. You can also see the water coming in under the door. I even added the ones of the less than professional installation of the insulation. We are less than satisfied, to say the least.

Bruce and his team were completely professional and caring. They were responsive and formed the work in a timely and effective basis. I needed new glass for my sunroom ceiling and overall seam repair. Am very pleased with the work.

Bruce is extremely nice and his team is super professional. I was very satisfied with the quality of work and the fact that he beat my previous two estimates I got on our den project. We will definitely be hiring him again.

Bruce is very nice , courteous and on time . He gave us a fast and affordable quote . He has his own architect so we did not have to bother finding an architect . The work will start hopefully in 2 months and we hope to be happy and satisfied with the work results .

These guys were great from start to finish. They really went above and beyond to create a space that was perfect for me and my family. Highly skilled carpentry, tiling and finishing work. When you have a work crew around your house for a couple of months, it’s so important to feel personally comfortable with them. I was actually sad to see my new friends go! Everyone who sees the completed job literally gasps expressing how incredible it looks. Bruce and his team are incredible.

I worked with Bruce and he was excellent. He helped me make the most of my budget and even recommended some modifications that were improvements to my original design and reduced cost. He was up front and professional. He and his team do a great job and do things right.

I worked with Bruce and he helped me design the best solution for my budget. This included a 3 season room and a deck for my barbecue. The product he sells and the architecture put in place is top notch.

They came yesterday to my home to put a new roof on my sunroom as I had leaks. They were very professional, curteous and friendly and very knowledgeable of the work being done. They are finishing up today. I would highly recommend Sunview in the future.

Good communication and prompt service. Pleased with quality of work. An issue not contractors fault was remedied quickly. Would definitely use Sunview again and would recommend to others.

Overall the project was executed very well, with good material and workmanship. The work quality of 2 of the subcontractors was not fully satisfying. This was remedied upon request in one case (I did the other case myself). Communication with the contractor was very good in general, with perhaps one exception (the additional cost of a code required item was only communicated with the final bill). Despite the minor problems mentioned above I would recommend this contractor without hesitation.
