Super Good Movers

My review. Don't hire. I spoke to David who I think manages the movers AND I spoke to Karla, who is the owner. It took the movers about seven hours to move bedroom furniture into a ONE BEDROOM apartment! They argued that it was 3 floors and that's what took time. Nope!! First floor was a step going down. They had two flights of stairs. Only big items were a bed and a small couch. The rest were small boxes and two TVs. We had FIVE additional people helping them move things and it still took that many hours?! I'll tell you why. One of the movers was great, which was Keith. The other one, Izzy, not so much. They only assembled ONE piece of furniture because Keith was doing things on his own while Izzy sat there twirling the screws... LITERALLY. When I asked Izzy to move two totes for me and stack them in the bedroom, all he did was stack them and left them where they were. Keith could not get the frame of the bed in because Izzy was in the back of their moving truck folding blankets.

Short move , great service . No damage.

We had a business agreement with David (the owner) and the company about 6 months ago. After fulfilling our end of the agreement, David started ignoring us and still owes us a substantial amount of money. He does not answer his cell when he sees it is us calling and when we call from a number he does not recognize, he hangs up once we tell him who we are.

The four guys that helped me move extremely heavy items had a great attitude. Worked so hard and accomplished all the work I asked them in less then two hours. I would highly recommend them. They where very professional!

Great wokers though did not undestand the insurance packgage where you needed to buy more supplies just because you paid for insurance.

They showed up two hours late. My window was between 1-3 and I was called at 2:30 to let me know they were running an hour behind. They showed up at 5pm. When they showed up they immediately got to work with 3 guys. When they arrived at my new location, one of the guys left. They were told by the one that left that they had 2 hours to finish unloading. At 10pm, I was told that they were leaving because they were no longer getting paid for any additional hours. They had unloaded everything into my garage. I am partially disabled and my husband and I just moved here from out of state. We had no one else to call for help so out of frustration, I started to cry. The guys stayed a little longer to get everything into the house. My front door and garage door were left open for them to go in and out and it was 35 degrees out. I woke up the next morning with a sore throat and fever. Aside from the many apologies from the guys at my house, I never received a call from a manager or customer service even after I called and expressed my unhappiness. I not only will never recommend them but I would suggest a change in company name as they had fell far below super good .

It was a two-man crew, and the young man in charge was very professional, patient, polite, and agreeable. They were all about business and worked hard for us.

***UPDATE TO REVIEW - Really, the only thing that I can change about my review is that the company was willing to listen to me and was responsive. I went through the process of filing a claim and negotiated other compensation. I DO appreciate that this company recognized that a service failure occurred and that they made the effort to provide some compensation.****** This was a NIGHTMARE from start to finish! I was given an arrival window of 8am to 9am.....they arrived at 10:15am....the young man who seemed to be in charge said he apologized for being late, but, there had been a problem with one of the regular employees and he had been required to find a replacement. Okay, so we move on and I do not think much about it. One guy was basically stationed on the truck and the other two were working inside my house. I gave cold bottles of water to the two guys inside and took one outside to the guy in the truck.....he walked over to me and was slurring his words so badly that I almost could not understand what he was saying.... he had some kind of damage/swelling to his face.....he seemed to be out of it......he mumbled that he had fallen on his face. I told him he should see a doctor...he said he had and that he was ok. Quickly it became apparent that there was bickering, arguing, one-up-manship and who knows what else going on among the 3 men. The man from the truck started coming inside my house and when another guy would wrap an he would intervene, say it should be done his way, said he knew what was professional, etc. Time was wasted and I was beginning to get nervous and agitated because it was SO UNPROFESSIONAL for all this bickering to be done in the customer s presence! After an hour or so, the other two guys talked with the bossy, loud-mouthed guy and told him to go sit in the truck - he was no longer a part of the crew. So now, I have TWO guys trying to do the work and I am paying for THREE!! The guy who was banished to the truck came back in twice over the next couple of hours.....by the third time I was SO ANGRY, but I started out very calmly....I went upstairs and said stop, I am the customer and all of this arguing and bickering is unprofessional and you are wasting time....just stop. The truck guy started giving excuses and complaining and who knows what else......I SCREAMED STOP IT he kept flapping his mouth and I SCREAMED AND GET OUT! he continued....I SCREAMED again GET OUT! as he walked down the stairs he was still talking back. I said SHUT UP!, SHUT UP! GET OUT! I told the other guys to get the job done and get it done right! I asked the one in charge if they would send someone to replace the guy who was on drugs or CRAZY and out of it....He said that there really was not a way to get anyone else there unless they UBER-ed him over. BOTTOM LINE: It took 7 hours for a 2 bedroom 1098 sq ft condo to be loaded up....and the whole job took 13 HOURS! They started at 10:30am and ended at 11:30pm!!!!!!!!! We were ALL exhausted! and THEY DAMAGED 2 PIECES OF MY FURNITURE!!! My piece called a secretary was gouged all across the front of the fold out table VERY BADLY and my desk has a BIG gouge on one of the legs. NIGHTMARE, NIGHTMARE, NIGHTMARE - HORROR SHOW, HORROR SHOW, HORROR SHOW. RUN - DONT WALK - AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.....Oh, and by the way, the crazy guy on drugs and one of the other guys WERE JUST PICKED UP THAT MORNING FROM A STREET CORNER WHERE THEY WERE HOPING TO BE PICKED UP FOR WORK! They were NOT trained in MOVING peoples belongings! They could not have been bonded because they were from the street! I am sorry for their situation, but, THIS IS NOT THE WAY TO RUN A PROFESSIONAL MOVING COMPANY! HORROR SHOW!!!!!

Great rates, but you pay for what you get. Lots of scuffs inside and on the door at the new house, and several dents and scrapes on furniture and framed art. Too, there were several times when the crew of 3 started arguing/fighting which added time.

They were slow. Simply horrible for the amount of work that was done. The guys were nice but they did not have the tools required to move furniture. Customer Service was worse, the worst service and response ever. Never again and I do not recommend them. They deserve to be rated a D not a B.

While I was not actually present for the move they were able to take everything out of my storage unit and into my apartment in just over two hours, so they work pretty fast. The person I had on site watching over had nothing but good things to say. One piece of furniture did get completed ruined but it was no big deal and not really their fault, it was a cheap particle board bookcase that was already sorta falling apart. They did offer to pay for a replacement, but seeing as I got it pretty cheap I didn't want to bother with the paperwork and stuff. So all in all quick and efficient movers, would hire them again.

Super good movers were quick and affordable. After pricing four places, they were the best value. They arrived on time and worked quickly. We received all items and nothing was broken. It was a great experience.

Super Good Movers did a great job. They were on time, worked quickly and were profession. Their customer service department was in contact me regularly as our moving day approached to ensure all of our questions were answered and needs met. In the end not one thing was broken. We were very pleased with their work!
