"Dear Valued Customers, Superior Exteriors MN Inc (SE) has been in business since 2005 and has a total of two BBB complaints including this complaint I?m responding to. (consumer name withheld per their request) contact SE to provide them with an estimate to replace all the window in their newly purchased home. (consumer name withheld per their request) contracted SE to install six window inserts (not full frame including new extension jams and casing around the windows). As a special incentive, SE stated they would install 176 feet of gutter and downspouts and provided financing for their purchase. SE installed the windows, 164 feet of gutters and gutter apron (because they didn?t have any) and 65 feet of downspouts. A few days after the install was complete (consumer name withheld per their request) called with a punch list of items. 1. Windows needed to be cleaned 2. Interior stops were loose. SE hired a window cleaning company to clean every window in their house and sent the installer back to address the interior stops. Mr. (consumer name withheld per their request) was not present and Mrs. (consumer name withheld per their request) wasn't clear on what her husband wanted addressed. The following week SE called (consumer name withheld per their request)with the installer present to try to schedule another time to come out. SE also explained that the previous owner had painted all the window jams with very inexpensive paint that they were not properly sanded prior to painting which resulted in paint chipping away during the install. SE offered to send its installer out and review options to address their concerns. (consumer name withheld per their request) declined the offer. In addition he still owes SE $1000.00"
"FROM THE CUSTOMER!! Steve, While I probably should have copied you earlier, Juan was our primary contact for the duration of the project and we had no idea that he had left. Once we receive the paint and stain, I will update the review. I could go on and on in regards to this customer but i will take the high road and say SE did very thing he requested or i would not have been paid. (purchasing $7500 in additional windows without a payment it not a progress payment....it is a down payment)."
