Superior wood flooring

Do NOT hire! The job took weeks beyond what was expected. There was always an excuse. The repair that was done is very easy to spot. My newly painted walls had to be touched up due to stains on the walls and gouges from the machines. The owner said he would cover the cost but that never happened. I even have pictures to back up this review. This was the only contractor that caused problems throughout our whole remodel.

Iâ m. Not very happy with superior wood floors and their customer service. Scott and his team refinished my kitchen hardwoods back 2 months ago. I was quoted before the project and during the project under $1000. I was then charged $1400 on my debit card. I called the next day And Scott told me that his wife accidentally charged my card for somebody elseâ s project. At the time I thought it was an honest accident and wasnâ t concerned as he said he would refund me the $400. I have since contacted him 3 times and he keeps telling me he will get back to me and has used excuses like heâ s been on vacation. It seems like a simple fix that would take less than a couple minutes but now itâ s been 2 months and Iâ m very displeased. Iâ ve never given anyone a negative review for anything before but to be quite honest this is ridiculous And this issue should have been taken care of immediately. At this time I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I would not recommend this company. The work done was not as promised. They said they would fix any dents and repair the wood with pet stains. This was not done. The floors are not smooth especially around the edges. There are places where there are swirl marks from over sanding in the middle of the floor. They did a poor job containing the dust. There was dust everywhere and took forever to clean up. They left trash out on our deck and in our garage. When the sanding set off our smoke alarm, it was ripped out of the ceiling which left a huge hole and never said anything about it to us. We found the alarm out in the rain on our deck.

I was satisfy with the work performed for this project. The project took longer than I anticipated but the work meet my expectation and i have no regrets about the quality of work and time it took. I am not one that would recommend business to anyone but if asked about this project I would consider providing a recommendation.

This is an excellent company. Very responsive, professional and outstanding work. They took great care in making sure there was no dust left. Dominic was fantastic. Their work exceeded my expectations.

I highly recommend Adam who was the employee who worked on the floors. He had great attention to detail, he cleaned up after. I would definitely hire again.

They resurfaced hardwood floors .Look like new and preformed work on time. After completion, cleanup was great especially with all the sanding that was required

Adam and Nick did a superb job on my floor. Scott was very poor with communication and argued with me that he was not. Perception is reality!

Scott and his crew did a good job finishing our floors. We had left him access to the house for a week and expected the job to be completed upon our return. Unfortunately, he still needed to put a last finishing coat on the floor which necessitated our checking into a hotel for a night.

Work done was very amateurish and rushed from out of town workers. There are obvious coarse sanding ridges and scrapes across the grain. It had only 2 coats of polyurethane and it now has numerous bumps and irregularities due to insufficient sanding initially and between coats. There was insufficient clean-up between coats and prep by refusing to vacuum after sanding. The worst was the owner trying to shake down a senior woman for a 50% increase supposedly for extra sandpaper for a 7 x 13 room. The owner never even came to estimate, supervise, or check out the finished work. One of the workers snooped in my medicine cabinets. To get them to finish & leave, my partner had to step in. Very unprofessional.

I m so impressed with my hardwoods! Scott (and the other guys) were always prompt and did exactly what I wanted done. They worked around my households busy schedules (including our dog). I would definitely recommend them to anyone!👍👍

The workmanship was great. The house is over 100 years old and the floors needed some repairs. You would have to look very hard to find a patch. They also worked with us to get the exact stain color we wanted. The floors look amazing!

Superior Wood Floors did an outstanding job on refinishing the hardwood floors in our kitchen, morning room, and front hall way. They took care of moving heavy furniture including a piano that was on wheels. They started and finished on time and the cleanup of the work area was impeccable. The results exceeded my expectations. We had several areas that had sustained water damage and even those areas were restored to like new condition. Everyone including the owner, Scott, were great to work with. The work was dustless. Their pricing is very reasonable and they used good quality finishing material. They did not try to scrimp on lower quality finishing compound. I've hired other flooring companies in previous years for other houses and this company is truly Superior. Pun intended. I give them my highest recommendation.

Floors were done on time and they looked great.
