Eric and his crew has pulled me back from freezing to death more than once. The first time my furnace died in December 2013. Eric came well recommended and told me what I needed to do to replace my old furnace ASAP. Another contractor bidding on the job had recommended that I get a high efficiency unit, which was all the rage at the time, but Eric patiently explained why mid-efficiency was better for my older home. It was also less expensive and would heat more evenly. He coordinated all the tradesmen (including getting the chimney lined) so that we were without heat as briefly as possible, quietly leaving at 3:30 AM Christmas Eve morning. Then about a month ago one of the parts from that boiler malfunctioned and destroyed quite a bit of the installation. Eric came the same day I called him, and immediately began working with my insurance adjuster, including over a holiday weekend. Once funding was released, he picked up all the required parts and put me on his schedule. I found out later that he had stayed this time until about midnight making sure all was working well. That Eric is responsive (although pretty busy) is not the best part of this story. Because of the types of boilers he is expert in, he also recommended an outdoor sensor and an indirect water heater, both of which save money in the long run. I can't believe how the change in equipment has made such a difference in evenly heating my home and lowering my month-to month costs. Eric is very knowledgeable about the subject at hand and in making recommendations that are right for your situation, not just looking to nail you for every dime. Thanks Eric! Impressive work!
