Surface Repair and Refinishing

After Joe finished my sink I could still see rust around the drain. I called him within a few days of him finishing. I called him and sent pictures of the problem, he would not fix it. Now just 8 months later I will have to hire someone else to repair the shoddy work he did. I have 10 or more places where the porcelain was too thin and rust is bleeding through everywhere. I begged him to fix this for months, he couldn't be bothered. He even went so far as to tell me, "I am not a member of the contractors board, and am not governed by them". The original porcelain on this sink lasted 80 years, the job Joe did didn't last 80 days. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this company!

After contacting Joe and sending a photo of our kitchen sink, he was here the following day. Extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. He kept everything very clean, and I sink looks new again. I could not recommend him enough!

Be aware that you cannot use your sink for 48 hours while it cures or get water in/on it. Joe turned my dull pink kitchen sink into a brightly refreshed white sink.

Joe resurfaced my kitchen sink, cast iron antique. Around the drain, the porcelain was too thin and the rust showed. I immediately contacted him, he said he would fix it for almost double the original cost. I objected as I paid for the job, it should have been done correctly. He finally said he would fix it, that was three months ago, it is still not fixed. Now rust bleeding through and chips in other places too. Original porcelain lasted 80 years, this job did not last 80 days!

Joe Fraga resurfaced the two matching master bathroom sinks in my home one of which had developed serious, deep "spider web" cracks for the second time. Both had been resurfaced by "A-1 Bathtub Refinisheing, inc." just 5 years ago (most $250), which was "warranteed" for 15 years but the company did not honor the warrantee. The new resurfacing is was done by applying an epoxy-acrylic surface coating which cures in place after preparation of the old surface by removal of the previous coating, sanding and crack-filling. The whole process took about 1/2-day and cost five hundred dollars. The results match perfectly and look good though not as natural as the original sink surfaces. Very satisfied with the work and crossing my fingers that the cracks do not recur.

Responded to my request for quote immediately, on time, work was very professional. The sink repaired looks brand new without any in tile removal. Did work outside the scope of work. Would recommend highly.

Due to the nature of the damage to my sink, a perfect result was not possible. However, it looks so much better than it did that Iâ m satisfied with the result. The sink is tiled in with epoxy grout & removing it would probably require re-tiling the kitchen. Would not hesitate to hire him again!

We made a tentative appointment. He waited until the last minute to call that morning that he would come over. I did not like that, but otherwise, I love how it turned out. I think he should have completed the job by cleaning the dust off of everything.
