BUYER BEWARE!! I could go on and on about why you should not use this company but I will try to be brief. If you do not mind throwing away your hard-earned money, then by all means choose this company. The quality of their work and their material is way below par. Ricky the owner only replied to my phone calls and emails regarding my issues once before he got paid. Once he cashed the checked he NEVER called me back or emailed me and I called and left numerous messages. He had his worker bee JD get back to me which did not do any good as JD has no power or $ to make things right. We paid to have an overlay. The edges of my driveway are uneven, cracking and crumbling. They are not packed nor can they be b/c the edges mostly consist of large ¼ and ½ inch stones, not smooth asphalt. The edges are crumbling-since day 1. Some edges are only 1 inch thick!!! They put asphalt on top of mulch instead of solid earth so of course they are crumbling! JD the worker bee said he would fix the edges and would redo them if need be. I spent approx. 6 hours pulling back the earth on the edges of the driveway, so they could cleanly redo the edges like JD said they would. I was not sure when they were coming back to do the work. I came home from work one day and the work had been done and the earth had been moved back. They did not call me to let me know they were working on my driveway which was upsetting b/c I wanted to see the work they were doing. I did not want them to put the earth back. They did it to hide the fact they did not fix my edges barely at all. Now I have to do the earth moving work all over again when I get a real asphalt company back to fix these crumbling cracking edges. I have pictures a lot of them for anyone who wants to see the quality of work this company does. It is truly horrific. We were taken. Please do not let yourself fall victim to Ricky and his crew. JD - Ricky s main man even admitted the edges were not good and blamed one of the new guys who should have done a better job. JD said numerous times: We will make it right, but they have not. There are some areas in the center of the driveway that were poorly done as well. If you have 7K to blow on a crappy asphalt job, hire this company. If not, look elsewhere, anywhere else.

While paving our driveway, they accidentally hit our home with some equipment and caused damage to the house. To repay us for the damage they took $500 off our cost AND said they would return this fall to seal coat our driveway (a $500 value). I have a signature form the foreman on our bill of sale. My husband has contacted them three times in the past month and they will not respond to his messages. We have been waiting for four weeks for a response to schedule the promised service.

Consummate professionals. Came back later of their own volition to seal cracks they'd missed. Highly recommend.

Ricky and his team provided us with a DETAILED bid, that included the entire process. During the installation they noticed a portion of our lot that was very unstable and had more then average amount of sand. They brought in equipment, dug it out about 8-10 inches and dumped a truckload of road base. They did not ask me for any additional funds but wanted to make sure we did not have any problems down the road! We will only use Surface Solutions for all of our Asphalt needs.

I had about 5,000 square feet completed and am very happy with the work!

Answered our questions, on-time for project, hard-working crew, pleasant. We are pleased with finished job -- looks great! Would use them again.

Immediate response to my request,prompt service,polite and respectful,worked efficiently, cleaned up well,etc on superlatives!! I cannot say enough good about the whole process. Another name we got did not show up for an appointment, and a third did not call me back after a request, and the 4th was too high a price. So THANK YOU again for a job well done.
