Surfside construction & Renovation

David and Asher re-did the stairs connecting to my front deck and they did an amazing job. I couldn’t be more pleased. Top notch quality work, they were efficient, cleaned up afterwards and were pleasant to have around. Will 100% use Surfside again in the future!

Surfside has done so much excellent work for me including building a shed(not from a kit!), cutting & installing all new wall, door & window trim; installing window blinds, new fencing, removing an old shed and a total refurbish of the main bath. Their attention to detail and communication all contributed to my being a completely satisfied customer!

This husband and wife team is first rate. We had a banking issue at the start of our project. They could have easily said it wasn't their responsibility to help me retrieve the money, but they didn't. They created a loyal customer as a result. And the work quality was second to none. I got quotes from two other providers but theirs was the best in terms of scope definition and price. The only thing I would like to see is more responsive comms, but I also understand how hard it is to balance "front office" work with the project work for a small business. And David works 7 days a week. If he makes a project commitment, he keeps it. They are delightful people who I am looking forward to working with again.

They were awesome from start to finish

My interactions with David and Hannah were first rate. While David replaced the two decks at our Kitty Hawk cottage, almost all of my communications and interactions with the David and Hannah were conducted via telephone and email. The proposal process (conducted primarily with Hannah) took a little time as I decided between wood and Trex, colors, railings, etc. I decided on Trex. Construction seemed to go quickly and smoothly, and David sent photographs of his progress on a regular basis. I was and am still pleased with the decks. My wife and I subsequently talked with David about kitchen and bathrooms remodel. We have not yet reached a decision about design, and we will likely need more help with that before we are ready to proceed. We will definitely ask Surfside Construction to help us and to bid on the projects.

The expediency of the work was excellent. But what really helped was their quick communication, follow up, and the ease with which they are to work with. Very professional. Kind of rare these days!

David and team replaced our deck and pilings and did a fantastic job. We could not be happier with the process and the results.

David replaced all of our 3 levels of decks and rails with composite . Also redid our entire screened porch. David is highly skilled, very professional, neat and on time. I am a perfectionist and will definitely use him again. His rates are quite reasonable. Also, Hannah is delightful, and both are a pleasure to work with.

I was very happy with the work. The unfortunate thing is that I have contacted them a few times since trying to give them more work, but they never responded.

We added a rear deck to our beach house so we were not on site.. David did and excellent job with the construction and Hanna did and excellent job keeping us updated on the progress and even sent pictures .

Dave replaced the deck on the front of our cottage. A fabulous job done in a timely and professional manner. I would hire him again with no question!!

David and Hannah are a great team. Hannah handled all the administrative office matters and coordinated logistics, communications and timeline. David is a perfectionist as evidenced by the finished product. We received a lot of compliments on our new tile and bamboo flooring.
