"Very small outlet. Owner (Meynard) and two technicians. Meynard will bid multiple projects and work them at the same time, so some days you will have his guys at the house and some days you won't. Tech's work bankers hours 8-330. The project management of this company is dismal. I would have to email Meynard to get times when technicians would be at my house to start work. I'm sure for small projects these guys are great. But anything more than a day, I wouldn't use. Tech's are pretty careless when it comes to installing outlets/switches square, I had to go back and square up outlets and switches once tech's had finished. Also had to clean up after them more than once. My biggest problem with Meynard was his project management skills. I hired him at first to rewire a house because the insurance company told me I had to, however I fought back with the insurance company and did not have to rewire. At this point I had paid Meynard $6000 and he had done maybe $1500-2000 of work (had only been at the house 2 days). Since I no longer needed to rewire the house, I requested a change order from Meynard for his crew to do some other work around the house instead. We both agreed on the terms of the change ordered and Meynard said he would send me the change order document. I told him I did not want to spend any more money than was already given. His crew finished up the work we agreed on about two weeks later (6 total working days that his crew worked at my home) and Meynard sent me a $3600 invoice!!! So, $9600 for 6 days of work. Very shady and unethical business practices. Meynard did do the right thing and not make me pay the additional $3600, but very displeased I would be presented an invoice for additional money after work was already complete when we agreed upon changes that my initial $6000 would cover."

This company does amazing work. Very professional, trustworthy, and hardworking. I would definitely use them in the near future. I highly recommend them.

The team at surprise electric were professional, affordable, and they completed the job within a timely manner. Meynard diagnosed my electrical problem caused by a lightning strike rapidly and accurately, then proceeded to replace items that needed repair. I found him very knowledgeable. I intend to hire him whenever I need an electrician.
