Dont hire this guy....he will not answer his phone and he WILL not call you back when you need him.....he could do good work but he is lazy and takes short cuts....I HAD A 12 BY 12 PORCH AND A ROOF TO COVER IT BUILT...The porch isnt to bad...but he nailed when the contract said to use screws....the roof is not right and the gutter leaks all over the place....the steps he built are not level ...and never let him do any concrete work....very sloppy and messy.....he does not clean up very well when he is done...I still have chunks of concrete laying under my porch...and the wood forms are still in the ground....

I had 3 slabs of concrete done for a patio. (2) were 10 x 10 and one was 11 x 10. On one slab it sinks in the middle, so it leaves a good size puddle when it rains. There was suppose to be a smooth 6 inch edge all around-but that did not turn out correctly. Also broom marks across each slab-some areas you cant even tell it was done. The color varies from very dark to very light on the same slab. I was told it would lighten up with time. It did this but there is a big difference in colors on the same slab. ( I will be staining it, so that really doesnt matter, but it would to someone that isnt going to stain the concrete). They cleaned up well

we did a basement work with Ken. He completed everything as per contract.

I was extremely dissatisfied with swaringen and how they operated. There were cracks in the concrete slab after a month of the garage being constructed. They ran over our water meter and damaged the piping inside. I do not recommend this company.

Showed up on time and got the job done it time. He was very friendly. My only reservations would be that instead of digging deeper into the grass in front to make it level front to back, he back-filled the non-level back end with gravel, so now I have to bring in more dirt to fill in so the gravel doesn't wash away. Also the edges are very messy so I have to break off some chunks of overflowed concrete to make the lines straight. Otherwise, he did a very good job.

Our building experience was easy on us from start to finish. Swaringen built us a 2 story addition. He stuck to his budget (which was very reasonable) and worked on the job site nearly everyday until completion which was within our estimated time frame, The workmanship was quality and everyone on the job was courteous and helpful.
