Sweet Clean

I contracted with Sweet Clean for a deep cleaning of a 432sq. Ft apt., I specified "all surfaces" and was quoted $350 plus cost of cleaning supplies above $20. Aisha came alone and was here for 3 hours and 7 minutes from the time that she called me to let me know she was here, to the time she texted me that she was done. When I agreed to pay for cleaning supplies I thought she meant bleach, soaps, wood oils etc, which was all she mentioned while we were on the phone. I didn't realize that she would be purchasing a $30 mop, as well as rags, sponges, 2 boxes of disposable gloves etc for a total of over $75. To her credit she doesn't appear to have charged me for the wood floor cleaner. She told me she would arrive at 2pm, and confirmed via text. I texted her at 2:12, then received a call at 2:58 letting me know she would be late. She arrived about 49 minutes after that. She spent less than 3 hours actually cleaning, and the total bill was $407.14. That's somewhere between $110 to $135 an hour, depending on how you figure material costs. If the job were done I would have 0 complaints, the faster the job is done the better. But I specified all surfaces, and dust remains on baseboards, spots remain on walls, light switches remain dirty, and the stain under the sink, where she said she "cleaned everything that would come up with soap and scrubber," came up with a little moisture and wiping it with the tip of my finger. I hired out the cleaning because I injured my back doing manual labor earlier this week. Now I've paid over $400 and figure I have 4-5 hours of cleaning work left to be done while I'm injured. The bottom line is that she completed less than 50% of the job that we contracted with her. In addition to all of the above Aisha arrived shortly before sunset, and when I offered her a headlamp and work lights she declined saying that she had brought her own "torch," I thought that meant she had a flashlight or headlamp of her own. I was surprised when I came back to see her using the light on her mobile phone to illuminate her work. It struck me as highly unprofessional, I certainly wouldn't have considered it sufficient if I had been doing the work. She also spent quite a bit of energy lecturing me on the care of my wood floors, and implying that I had been neglecting them. Having sanded and finished the floor myself, using Danish Wood Oils, I thought I knew something about caring for them, but I politely accepted her chastisement believing that as an expert she had something to teach me. After she left and the floor dried we found the finish had been damaged. I checked the instructions on the product she used and it specifically stated that it was NOT to be used on oiled or unsealed wood floors. I ended up refinishing and retreating the floors.

Extremely thorough deep clean. Responded immediately to my post and was available the next day. Brought a crew to get the job done quickly. Remarkable attention to detail - cleaned areas I hadn't even thought to ask her to take care of. The house has never been as clean as it was when Aisha and her crew finished. Would definitely recommend this service very highly, and we will be contracting her again.

My apartment never looked better!

I think she may do a better job for regular maintaining of a well kept home or apartment. Insure she takes time to answer questions, is clear about who supplies equipment, what type of gloves she expects you to have, etc. BEFORE reporting to the job.

We needed a cleaner last minute, and for a deep clean no less. Aisha came to the rescue and did a beautiful job cleaning our home. Pretty certain most of the house looked better than it did when we moved in two years ago. She was also great with our dogs and cats. Highly recommend!

WOW!! Sweet Clean did a phenomenal job on my house. We moved out of state and I needed it cleaned for my renters that are moving in. WOW is all I can say from the pictures I was sent. It looks like a brand new house!!! I got this company off Angie s list and am super happy with them! I would highly recommend Sweet Clean to anyone who needs any kind of cleaning! She was an hour late and left a half an hour early. She did the minimum she had to do. Her english was only OK. I was very disapointed but I still paid her in full. I would not reccomend her.

My house was recently cleaned by your company, and I was charged $295. I was overcharged for an interior clean (window seals, baseboards, interior windows, refrigerator, oven, microwave were not cleaned.) Additional issues: - My kitchen floor was not mopped -Shower not completely cleaned- glass door and faucet was not cleaned -Mirrors smudged -Bathroom counters still had make-up on them -Stain of an oil- based orange chemical was left on my white carpet and I was not notified. I only found out after stepping in the wet spot that is still soaking wet. -I was charged for your cleaning supplies I will now have to have a follow up service come in to rectify the cleaning mishaps.
