About us

Hard work and integrity. Two simple concepts that were taught to me at a young age by my stepfather that have changed my life completely. I'm Alex Melendez, the owner and operator of Swilley and Son Landscape. I have a long history of landscape design and installation, from working for Disney to working all over central Florida. In 2017, I finally made the decision to branch out on my own. I could not think of a better name for the company than to honor my stepfather who taught me to be passionate about what I do. I have recently had the pleasure of bringing on an old friend and colleague, Bryant Clark, to assist me with landscaping designing. Either Bryant or myself would love to meet with you and discuss what can be done to improve your landscape, and maybe even make your neighbors a little jealous. We specialize in all things designing: hardscape, pavers, retaining walls, lighting, water features, plants, palms, rock, mulch, and more. Please call us today to get started.

The Swilley Team are fantastic! From start Alex was so easy to talk to and listened to what we wanted. Throughout the project we changed things around and again, nothing was a bother or problem. Upon install the Team could not be nicer, more respectful, neat, patient, and true perfectionists. We are so glad we hired them for our landscaping and paver project. You will not be disappointed.

Very reasonable price; top quality installation of patio pavers. Installation team worked well together, were very pleasant and respectful, and made sure the work was done thoroughly and correctly. Finished product was better than expected and we couldn't be happier with the new patio. They did amazing work and the company is highly recommended! Without question, I'd hire them again for landscape work.

I loved working with these young men! My yard is beautiful, and my neighbors are so complimentary. I will be having them back to make other areas match the lovely work they did. I am not sure about cost, but those who know said it was a good value.
