Worst deck install, did not do proper support, 18% grade ramp instead of 4% grade for our disabled family members to use. Worst nightmare to fix this issue Deck steps just two boards nailed and not flushed. Left work site not nailing bundle of floor boards and side bars. Made several mistakes in over cutting wood and used it anyway. Did not used laser precision cuts for end cuts. There are wood chips sticking out The problem is also that since the deck is not supported properly the floor boards sink lower with few people standing near by with weight Contractor did not respond several calls and texts to come out and fix the issues. What help can home advisor give In this situation?

If you are looking for a contracted that will actually show up for the job then contact Sy Construstion!! I requested a quote on HomeAdvisor to have some work done on our front porch. Not only did I receive a call within 30 minutes (oe less) but Sy came out to our home on the same day to meet with us and quote a price. They were out the next day and the completed the project beautifully and within budget! We have additional projects around our home and will definitely use Sy Construction again.

We are extremely pleased with the finished deck. Our project consisted of removing a lower deck and raising it to extend to the upper deck. They listened to what we wanted which is hard to find these days. Sy and Bronco were extremely meticulous and so friendly! Sy went the extra mile by coming with us to Home Depot to make sure we got all of the supplies that were needed. He spent approximately two hours there making sure all the wood we bought was not warped and even loaded it on the carts! Who does that nowadays? I highly recommend Sy Construction if you want a deck built properly and one that will last for years! I am definitely going to use him for our next project which is building a fire pit seating area. I guarantee you won t be disappointed if you hire them to do your home improvement project.

Sy has handled two very different projects for us and we are extremely pleased with both. The work was completed earlier than expected and with very professional results. We will definitely use this company again.
