If you need to have a stump removed, these are the professionals to contact! A few years ago, they removed a huge stump for me and they were fantastic! They arrived on time, performed their work with impeccable detail (and it was so interesting to watch with their remote machine!!!) and they cleaned up the area. I was so impressed with their work that I hired them to remove another stump this spring. I highly recommend them!

Sylvester Stump Grinding was extremely prompt at returning our inquiry to have 15 stumps removed from our property. They were able to survey the job 3 days later and the stumps were gone within 3 weeks. The forested area now looks clean and open. There are even a few areas that look to be untouched, even though 2 stumps were removed from there.

Sylvester Stump Grinding did a great job removing the tree stump in our front yard. Jes responded quickly to my request to look at the work we needed done, quoted me a fair price and explained how the work would go. A couple of days after all the utilities had come by to flag underground wires, etc., Jes and Skip showed up, removed the stump and left a nice neat pile of woodchips, just as they said they would. They also explained to me the best way to get grass to grow back in the now empty spot. Great service, friendly people.

On time and quote

I called for an estimate, within an hour Jes came by to look over the job site and give me an estimate. They showed up promptly at the date and time agreed upon and began their work. When they were finished, I had 3 neatly raked piles of wood chips where once there were 3 ugly stumps. The Sylvester Brothers (Jes & Skip) run a very professional and friendly operation, while providing "Oustanding Service".

He was very professional- he set up the electric company review to make sure he wouldn’t be grinding through any wires so we didn’t have to deal with that. When he was done , he carted all the wood chips over to a garden for us where we wanted to use them as mulch. Hooray! Two stumps gone with no fuss, no mess!
